There is Somfy in the air!!
Great news about controlling Somfy motors,
We got lots of qeustions for supporting somfy, and now we got an great answer!
The RFXtrx433E become available from June 2 2014.
RFXtrx433E is A succesor of the great RFXtrx433 with the possibility to control Somfy motors.
We already got an prototype from rfxcom.com to implement and test.
And the Domoticz team has build in support (from beta 1772)
I have tested it and it works great!!
You are able to add a manual switch,
Give it a name, Choose type RFY (the name of Somfy in Domoticz)
Set a random unique Id and Unit,
Click test to pair and Add device.
The RFXtrx433E is available: http://www.rfxcom.com/Downloads
and Hardware: http://www.rfxcom.com/store/Sender%20un ... nger/14103

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Argh!! I bought my RFXTRX some weeks ago without being aware of this upcoming RFXTRX "E" version with RFY support!
Would be interesting to know if the added HW can be added to previous model...

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
I also bought the RFXTRX433. Can you explain the difference between the normal and the "E" other then support for RFY? Can it recieve multiple protocols like lighting4 and ARC at the same time for instance? Or is this not possible in any way?
RPI 3b+, PiFace 2, RFcom, Aeon Zwave USB, Aeon Home Energy Meter Gen 5, several Shelly switches, several ESP8266 sensors.

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
I have external venetian blinds controlled with Telis var/mod remote (this the one with a rolling button in the middle to choose the angle of the vrnetian). Is Domoticz capable to change venitian angle or just "up" , "down" and "my"?

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Hi Team,
I have installed the RFXTrx433E and can perfectly control my 13 Blinds.
The Up, Down, and Stop button works exactly like the remote control. (the Stop button beeing the My button)
Nevertheless, when I do scenario, I can only do On/Off and not use the Stop Button... and it works as designed.
How can I do to add the functionality Stop and not only on/off in the scenario definition?
Thanks
