Notifymyandroid results in error, although key is OK

Post by marin849 »

I have had the problem for a few months that NMA notification doesn't work so decided to check today.
I have created a new API-key, and tested it with the verify-url, then I sent a test message as an URL-string through the web-browser to check that it works. It does!

Then I tried this on the pi running Domoticz.

Code: Select all

pi@pi2 ~ $ wget "https://www.notifymyandroid.com/publicapi/notify?apikey=yesmykeywashere&application=%22Domoticz%22&message=%22test%22&event=%22testevent%22&description=%22inget%22"
That works as well!

Problem is in Domoticz I only get "Problem sending, check API-key" when I test the notification, and in the log it only says:

Code: Select all

 2016-07-04 23:02:51.080 Error: NMA:
2016-07-04 23:02:51.080 Error: Notification sent (nma) => Failed
Verbose logging is enabled.

It is difficult too see what is wrong, as the error message is blank. I have Domoticz 3.5274. Any Ideas?

Can anyone confirm that their NMA-notification is working?

I too, have the same problem and I'am curious how other boardmembers realized their Notifications (through NMA?).

This verify-test went fine (of course <my-api-key> was replaced by my own 48-char-api-key).
https://www.notifymyandroid.com/publica ... my-api-key>
My Browser returned:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<nma>
<success code="200" remaining="995" resettimer="30"/>
</nma>

Also, this notify-test went fine.
https://www.notifymyandroid.com/publica ... n=DomoDesc
My Browser returned:
This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.
<nma>
<success code="200" remaining="996" resettimer="32"/>
</nma>

And a little later this "popupped" on my phone:
Screenshot_NMA_Test.jpg
Screenshot_NMA_Test.jpg (10.97 KiB) Viewed 4881 times

But I cannot get it to work in Domoticz. The testbutton in Domoticz result in (the log):
2017-09-08 11:46:29.122 Error: NMA:
2017-09-08 11:46:29.123 Error: Notification sent (nma) => Failed

2017-09-08 11:46:29.161 Active notification Subsystems: nma (1/12)

"Who o who" has got the solution?
Thank you for your help.

At last everything works fine now on my "RPi 1 B+" after a fresh installation with this older image: "2017-07-05-raspbian-jessie-lite.img" (my starting-trials were with different versions of Raspbian Stretch Lite).

If you read the forum, you would have seen there are some problems with the latest Beta's concerning HTTP(s) mainly related using Stretch

I can't read the whole forum the whole time ;)

So, to which topic(s) are you referring?

I just did a new install with Raspbian stretch lite and I have the same exact problem in both the new installation and the old installation, running Raspbian Wheezy. I am also curious which thread that is mentioned.
