À french maker Made à first bench of ZiGate, à USB/wifi device who act as à ZigBee controller.Luigi87 wrote:Hi guys, I have a question about the Xiaomi gateway. I would like to implement a presence detection trough the ZigBee protocol.
there are tags like: this one from Samsung, who communicate with the smartthings hub to confirm you are there or not.
Now the problem: the Samsung smartthings hub is realy expensive (around 100 bucks), so i would like to use the Xiaomi Gateway and maybe an other ZigBee tag with the same functionality's
are there people here with experience with this? so which hardware do you used?
ZiGate is compatible with Xiaomi, hue, Ikea, Toshiba, Legrand Zigbee devices

Check the cpp file, there is no longer any reference to the ctrl_ln devices and it appears as I handled device in domoticz

I try to explain it better.
I would like to send a double click to the gateway as if the domoticz button was a virtual switch so the gateway believes that the switch I own been pressed
Sorry for my bad english.
OK, i hope i understood, you want to use the GW functionalities, and send it Double Click from domoticz..
You can simply press the Double Click button inside the switch created, and it will send the command to the GW.

Im using Corbin's git, - with latest changes he made.
2 weeks ago it had the ctrl_ln devices, however seems that corbin reverted some of the changes
last update i made to the domoticz removed the support for them.

Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
I feel I missing something, my xiaomi (dual) neutral line switches have been working in domoticz for a long time. Until 2 days ago I had the domoticz beta running from end of may compile. I installed the new beta for the new human body sensor with lux support.levynger wrote:the Neutral Version are not (yet) supported.. however it is planned..islandman wrote:Hi I am to new to domoticz. The neutral line switches are obviously still in my devices and I can control them but the status from manual control is not updated anymore.
Is this what we are talking about?, because it was running working in the code somewhere around April/may.

Yeah I've taken it out for now, wanted to get the other new devices added to the main beta first. That is done now but my repo is currently not compiling properly. Should have that fixed a bit later this week, then can look at the ctrl_ln devices again.levynger wrote:Im using Corbin's git, - with latest changes he made.

No Andree, it can be done much simpler.Andree wrote:With new beta v3.8240 all my 4 wireless switch when i use "DoubleClick" Domoticz set "LongClick".

Go to your switch, press edit and look at the selector levels.
The new sequence is off, click, double click, long click and long release.
Yours will be different, just reorder them using the arrows at the end of the level name.
Couple of clicks and you're done.
Don't forget to save the new sequence.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Hey Corbin et al.
Epic work on getting this all working with framework. Wondering if anyone can aid me in troubleshooting a problem though?
I run domoticz in docker on an UnRaid server, I have OpenZwave through an Aeon stick all working well with some fibaro dimmers etc. In the process of adding Xiaomi devices for triggers etc.
I'm currently running 3.8206. I can add the Gateway but I don't get any devices listed. Log states:
I've configured the Uservariable to log directly. I've mapped port 9898 through to the docker (or at least I think I have):
No errors shown but no devices found either.
Server is on the same subnet as the gateway, server is wired and can only be wired. I ran the iptables commands from the wiki on the unraid server but it doesn't seem to have made a difference.
I fired up domoticz on my windows desktop as a test bed, network situation is the same, the windows install picks up the devices right away.
I suspect it's to do with the port but am at a loss of how to troubleshoot and fix it.
Can you help?

Help no longer needed, launching the docker with "--net=host" resolved the issue. I also had confirmation that unraid does not pass multicast packets to bridge dockers if that helps anyone else.

@airmarshall
since you are running an UnRaid server, would it be this?
"I also had confirmation that unraid does not pass multicast packets to bridge dockers if that helps anyone else."
