Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Excellent work!
i been working on Beta 17/12 so far seems very stable and works excellent.
i have noticied 2 things though:
The door sensor after 1 minute will send "Closed" message (or earlier if closed of course..)
this means i cant create a notification if the door is open for 10 minute... 1 minute is the longer..
the motion sensor will not update triggers for less then 60 seconds periods, for some implementation i guess its more than enough.
Just got the humidity sensor.. cant wait for the next update with this sensor support included..

To users who got zigbee wall plug, can you confirm that plug is a part of zigbee network and act as a network extender ?

It is easier to compile on Linux following the guide in the Wiki, you could setup a VM to test with.ERRORR2 wrote: I will try, but I never did it before)
With the way Christmas is going here, I won't have time to do anymore for a week.
Question about the Xiaomi Gateway in Domoticz? Please check the Wiki first: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)

On zigbee always powered device have to be a part and extender of the mesh network, if a sensor is "connected" to it, message have to go like thispavelbor wrote:How we can know/confirm that?deennoo wrote:To users who got zigbee wall plug, can you confirm that plug is a part of zigbee network and act as a network extender ?
Sensor->plug->gateway
Gateway is the coordinator
Plug acting like a repeter/router
Batterie device are end network device
Put a sensor (switch/door/pir/temp) out of the network range, and put a wallswitch on halfway between the gateway and the sensor and check if sensor is reported or not.

No, I can't see my temp&humidity sensor, only zigbee socket.pavelbor wrote: Hello, what about temp&humidity sensors, do you see them ?
Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Corbin said that he had a few lines of codes to finalize before he could put it online to be able to retrieve the information of the temprétaures & humidity sensors.
You have to be patient and corbin has already done a very good job
For information, thumb those who would have a problem with their gateway.
The first version of the gateway released before 2016, does not have the function LAN developper.
A gateway must be left after 2016 or the AQARA version.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
I've added Gateway as in instruction https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara) but nothing appeared in "Devices". With Yeelight bulbs it's all ok. I need to enter this password somewhere?

did you go to "Switches" tab and press Learn Light/Switch ? you have 5 seconds to press the switch, or buttons on the MI sensors (door, motion etc)
it should recognize them during the learning time appears on screen.
Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
I've tried, but nothing, it even doesn't see gateway. May be i can set somewhere is't IP manually?

I confirm that bug and it's a nasty restriction using door sensor with Domoticz.levynger wrote:The door sensor after 1 minute will send "Closed" message (or earlier if closed of course..)
this means i cant create a notification if the door is open for 10 minute... 1 minute is the longer..
Just tested with original MiHome app and there sensor stay "open" as long is it open.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Cool! Please compile from https://github.com/corbinmunce/domoticz again and you (hopefully) will have control of your socket. As usual you will need to fully refresh your browser cache, and then add the Xiaomi Gateway again with the gateway settings (password, ip, port - only the password needs to be correct).ERRORR2 wrote:Compiled! Also door sensors should now continue to detect as open, when they are left open.
Temp and battery sensors are not quite done yet.

For anyone having no devices being found, please ensure your cache is cleared. If you are using Chrome, try https://chrome.google.com/webstore/deta ... kbap?hl=en as recommended by apazga.
I use Chrome for development, with cache disabled under the network tab, but it still seems to cache sometimes which is a pain.
