Have you installed DSM 6.1 Beta? and what type NAS do you have?

yes,
i just downloaded 6072 2 days ago(so i missed the latest version)

i noticed a new zwave module was not supported on 5019 but was supported on 6072
It turned out the module is recognised in 6072 but far from supported because a config file is missing.
i will buy the new module tomorrow and will test it out with a config file i made myself

Hardware:
Synology DS215J DSM 6.0.2-8451 Update 6
P1 USB cable

Package installed
Domoticz (version 3.0.5877-7)
UsbSerialDrivers DSM 6.0 beta (version 3-0)

I have the P1 cable in the USB3 port but Domoticz does not recognize the P1 cable.

How can I fix this issue? Is it a driver problem or something else?

did you try 'dmesg' to see if synology recognized the cable as USB device?

Thanks. I see indeed some errors (I did 2 outputs, 1 with the p1 kabel and 1 without a p1 kabel).

I see the following error with a p1 cable

A yes, that is why it does not show up in Domoticz, not recognized as ttyUSBx device.
Sure you have the correct drivers??

How can I pick the correct driver? The P1 cable works fine at the USB2 port. (but on that port i have the Aeotec USB Z-Stick - Z-Wave Plus)

I've installed the following packages:
Domoticz (version 3.0.5877-7)

EDIT: 20-12-2016: I removed UsbSerialDrivers DSM 6.0 beta (version 3-0) and Domoticz. I installed Domoticz again. (from http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_stable_6/) . But thats also not the solution.

is there a way to extract files from older spk packages.

i have problems with zwave control panel and need some files from an old package.

Domoticz with Python PluginManager for Synology test packages.
Download here: http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_beta_6_python/

Before installing this package, you have to install Python 3.5.1-0104 from Synology package center!
Python package can also be downloaded manually here: http://download.synology.com/download/P ... .5.1-0104/
Plugin folder is located in folder /usr/local/domoticz/var/plugins/ on Synology!
After you have added *py files in the plugin folder, you have to stop and start domoticz from package center for modules to load.
BTW! Take backup of domoticz.db and all you script before you test as always :-)

Merry christmas and happy new year!

That's great, hmmmm, lots of python libraries to utilise....I assume if a library works natively it will work via plugins? I.e. full library support?

Hi,

I have troubles with the lastest Domoticz version installed on my DS413j (events not working well, notifications not sent, no log on some devices ...).
It was working better with the previous version.

I'm still on DSM 5.2 and when i check for the lastest version available, it is Domoticz v3.0.5864-7 and i have ... v3.0.5877-7 ... which is supposed to be for DSM 6.0
Is it the source of my problems ?
Will it be an update for DSM 5.2 ?
Do i go back to 3.0.5864 and everything will be better ?

Thank you.

I do not update the DSM 5.2 domoticz packages so often anymore, but I can compile a new version for you if you want to test? ;)
