Ok, it was only a test, maybe it's not working.
you can try to type /usr/local/bin/node ./node -v
or
sudo node

Sorry to say, but your NAS is not supporting new compiler. When I try to compile Node version 4.x i get: WARNING: C++ compiler too old, need g++ 4.8
Your NAS is using g++ 4.6.

no, at one time this old version is not good anymore... and nodejs.org has dropped all packages for arm5, you shoult try arm6 but I cannot guarantee anything...

this is why for old PI I propose a nodejs for their arch:
nodejs_4.4.2_armhf.deb
npm_2.14.7_armhf.deb

in last case maybe you could try to extract it from my archives here : http://www.e-nef.com/domoticz/mdah/

Hi. I have searched the forum for hours.

I can't complete the install. I get stuck on the install the software Debian package. How do I run this.
wget -qO - http://www.e-nef.com/domoticz/mdah/gpg.key | sudo apt-key add -
sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list

Is this 3 separate commands to run. ?

I have clearly done something wrong because it says malformed line 4 in sources list & the list of sources could not be read when I run the update command on the next line.

I m running a Pi model b

Ignore the post above. I finally got it all working.

I am now trying to setup imperihome for external access and do not know where to start.

Do I need to setup a nginx proxy or can I just port forward like in domoticz.

Regards.

you can do a simple forward to start, I recommend you add a login/pass in the MDAH config file if you do this way.

Great. Thanks Epierre. I'll give that a go when I get home. Was delighted to get it working at all. It turned out that the "-" was different. So when I cut and pasted the code I got it working.

Hi,

Running a Rasp 2 for a year with Domoticz and it works fine and now it´s time for me to install imperihome. I´m not a Rasp-expert so first of all a simple question.

How do I change directory so I can go to /etc/mydomoathome/ from the putty terminal? "Cd" doesn´t work, why?
I would like to edit the config-file in mydomoathome diretory with nano.

I have tried to edit the file via Filezilla but that´s not the correct way.

I only have one user on my Rasp, it´s the "pi" user.

nano /etc/mydomoathome/config.json

Hi All,
Salut pierre,

Any new's for this problem ? I use a selector with http request for IR climatisation controler.
When i use the selector from domoticz, all is ok. But when i use the same selector from ImperiHome, the same request is sent ... OFF ... always, for any level selector.

Hello sorampage,

what do you use as AC controller, if I may kindly ask? I have a ZXT-120, but I cannot control my Mitsubishi AC with it. Perhaps yours is a better one and worth a try.

Thx.

You can try with an Orvibo AllOne.
