Domoticz app dashboard does not show negative temperature

I noticed a difference in showing negative temperatures in the app. On the dashboard the negative values are not visable in the larger font on the right. In the temperature screen they do show up. Is this by design? I include two printscreens that show the difference. The dashboard : Screenshot ...

Re: Cheap Chinese Power Meter made wireless

I know these calculations are done empirical, My meters needed other numbers to make the readout match with what's on the display. I did not further investigate the logic behind it. I have build two meters. I have made two virtual power sensors in Domoticz and the ESP module updates the values by ...

Good to know. Did you consider giving domoticz a reservation in your router?

Re: Cheap Chinese Power Meter made wireless

I'm working on a powermeter (the model as in kapee posts) and have build a circuit get the RX data optically isolated. Using this method you can safely connect the microcontrollerboard of your choice to the USB port of your computer. No need for an isolation transformer. My prototype uses a node MCU ...

Re: Cheap Chinese Power Meter made wireless

Nice project, I have inspiration to build one with a MySensors node in it. Just ordered two meters, wil take some time to get here. I'm curious what board is in the meters I get, I will update this topic a soon as I have them.

Re: Get smart meter values through script

Youre already sending html so you could send json urls to domoticz. First create dummy devices of the type needed (energy meter in this case). Then compose the json url using the idx number of the sensor. Test it in your browser and if the values are correctly updated implement them in your arduino ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

Thanks, did some testing and looks like the rounding is only happening on the combined weathersensor (bar, hum, temp). A seperate temperture sensor does show decimal on dashboard. is the the status text that wrong? or the value at the right? The rounding happens when the sensor is placed on the ...

Re: Where does the forecast info come from ?

Yes, I'm going to use one node and split the data in domoticz using scripts, I found some examples that will get me going. The node will have a BMP280 for temperature and pressure and a HTU21D for temperature and Humidity. Still would like to know more details about where domiticz gets the weather ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

Is there a reason why values are rounded down when placed on the app dashboard ? For example a thermometer, shows 19.5 C in the Temerature section but on the dasboard it shows 19 (without a C). No thats not intended, ill look into this Thanks, did some testing and looks like the rounding is only ...

Re: Where does the forecast info come from ?

Thanks for your reply. I did some more testing and found out that when I omit the humididy the sensors show up as two separate sensors, one for temp end one for barometer. This barometer does show the forecast as calculated by my own sensor. So Domiticz creates a combined weather sensor when three ...

Where does the forecast info come from ?

I'm buiding a weathersensor with a MySensors node. This node does some forecast calculations itselfs and sends them in as value 0 to 5. This is according to the MySensors API. When I look at this sensor in Domoticz there is forecast info available but not the data from my node. See screenshot below ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0

Hi, a question about the domiticz app for android : Is there a reason why values are rounded down when placed on the app dashboard ? For example a thermometer, shows 19.5 C in the Temerature section but on the dasboard it shows 19 (without a C). Would be nice if the sensor showed the real info on ...

Re: Strange devices appear in RFXtrx433E

This is the downside of using the 433 mhz devices. It's all open and your gateway knows lots of protocols. You can disable "add new devices" in the domoticz settings. That Will Keep your devices list Clean.

Re: Extra info on App

Ok, thanks for the info. I'm not using the lite version so looks like both Version of the app van show this Circle. Still wonder why the temp is rounded to a whole integer. Although some of your examples do show decimals.

Extra info on App

I noticed a new (for me...) feature in the app, when I place a thermometer on the dasboard there is an circle with a value in it. I was wondering what this means, is it an avarage in a specific period ? Or does it have another function ? http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a134/Rlnd/Screenshot ...

Re: RFLink - USB Gateway - Introduction

Whar type of antenna are you using now ? My experience with 433 mhz is that a simple stiff 173 mm long wire works best. And is cheap [emoji3]
