Static IP on Raspbian Stretch

Post by Bramz »

I had problems setting a static IP address on Raspbian Stretch.
Only after a fairly long search I discovered that it should be configured differently from how it was done on Jessie.
The answer is given on: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... p?t=191140

Hm. As far as I know I did it exactly the same as in jessie.

I see the problem (i think), interface name seems to have changed. I see too many lunix unix systems with all different kinds of interface names.

But the actions are still the same.

Yes, my search was long because I found relatively little information on this issue on various fora.
It seems that most people experience no problem when doing it the Jessie way.
Therefore I thought it useful to submit a post for those few on this forum who failed to get a working static IP in Stretch.

Good to know. Did you consider giving domoticz a reservation in your router?
