Hi all, -Sorry for the wall of text. Maybe it will help someone.- :D Wrestling with getting this working for a few evenings now. Am noob, so having some issues. The last few pages I have been reading about some people not getting it to work, and domoticz crashing when they create the hardware in ...

Re: Smart charger (Sonoff wi-fi smart switch)
I was actually thinking about doing something like this with a Sonoff. Not because of overcharging (I think that is no issue any more) but because of the really faint but -at night- easily audible sound that the chargers make when not charging any more. My thought for a solution is to use a Sonoff ...

Re: Devices don't appear after adding OTGW
Cool! Are there other advantages to using the Adafruit HUZZAH compared to the ESP board? It is readily available in the NL, and well documented etc that's true. But is is also 2 times the price.

Re: Devices don't appear after adding OTGW
Information on doing this tends to be a bit scattered, but this is the (a) tried, true and verified way.
Good luck!

Re: Devices don't appear after adding OTGW
@Duci - did you build this yourself? I'm looking for an OTGW with ESP8266, but have been stuck with all the discussions about running the ESP8266 off the power from the OTGW (or maybe you are using a separate power supply). Wondered if you ordered a higher rated transformer than the 15V 1.2VA, or ...

Re: Devices don't appear after adding OTGW
Solved (thanks to someones suggestion on another forum)! For people googling this in the future, here's the solution: Leave everything on and reset only the OTGW while leaving the ESP on. Get a dupont wire and touch the two "RST" holes together for half a second (low in this image). https://ic ...

Would have done that if it was possible, but me thermostat wire does not pass the place where my domoticz controller is nor can I ...
