Re: Getting started, basic setup not working
Indeed, that was it - great, thanks! Now at least (only) the test devices are seen in Dashticz.

Re: Getting started, basic setup not working
Thanks for the tip, but unfortunately no help - one of the other was marked as favorite, the other one not. Choosing two non-favorite ones and removing the slashes had no impact, neither did two favorites with or without the slashes. I'm sure the solution is obvious, but I'm just missing something.

Getting started, basic setup not working
I've installed the latest beta (V3.7.3) based on the great instructions , but am having a probably simple/stupid problem: if I add no blocks or columns at all, I get all Domoticz devices as expected. If I copy-paste the basic custom layout with some of my own devices idx's, I get a blank page. This ...

Re: Python Plugin: Zigbee2Mqtt
This is what a lot of people are receiving after updating 0.2.1 to 3.0 without removing hardware and adding it again. For now, I'm staying on 0.2.1 as I don't want all of my zigbee devices removed an readded again... Would someone know if there's a way to downgrade to 0.2.1.? I don't have errors ...

Re: Python Plugin: Zigbee2Mqtt
Hmmm. Good point, that might be possible - I could have had some stability issues ages ago, which might have been solved with a timed restart. Now I'd just need to figure out how that was done :D Cron, maybe. edit. looks like Domoticz is not restarting (has been now up for two days or so) but when ...

Re: Python Plugin: Zigbee2Mqtt
I've been fighting with my zigbee stuff and network stability for a while, with the expectation that zigbee network loses devices on continuous basis. By accident I noticed today that actually the issue might be on the connection between Domoticz and zigbee2mqtt: there several (mostly Xiaomi ...

Re: Python Plugin: Zigbee2Mqtt
Strange. Maybe it's my older Domoticz version; I haven't yet dared to update Domoticz to 11995 as every single update so far has caused quite some issues. I'll try to cope with node red admin panel.

So this has actually been working? Mine has always been just Loading..., updating to 1.16.2 had no effect.

Re: Python Plugin: Zigbee2Mqtt
I seem to have the domoticz-UI-not-updating issue that @qwerk and @gschmidt reported back in November and @johansson thought was solved. Can anyone help with why it might still be happening, please? Just to clarify; I was just able to update my plugin but have still the same issue with devices ...

Re: Python Plugin: Zigbee2Mqtt
The updating issue was solved: git checkout adapters/__init__.py did the trick. Let's see if updating helped with missing devices as well.

Perfect! It was just as simple as it should have been, but missed few details here and there - now it works.
Thanks waaren.

Arm/Disarm security with a script [Solved]
How do I set the security panel status to ArmAway/ArmHome/Disarm with dzvents? I'd need just a push button (or dummy switch with Alexa) for kids to arm the alarm, i.e. switch cameras on etc.
Probably too simple, but just couldn't figure it out.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Python Plugin: Zigbee2Mqtt
I've been a happy user for few years already, running obviously quite an old version ("Initialized version 0.0.18")... Not sure if the issue is in the plugin or somewhere else, but seems that approx 20 devices are working properly with my Domoticz setup; after some time some of the devices get lost ...

Re: Advice on camera
Hi krizzz, do you have experience of these, ie do they work with Domoticz? Specs vs price seem ok, but not sure that one could connect them with Domotic.krizzz wrote: ↑Sunday 26 April 2020 18:03

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
knielen, you're suggesting that older version of broadlink would solve the connection issues as well? The issues in last few posts differ slightly from my errors, but obviously that's an easy one to check.
Will try and revert - thanks.

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
After a lot of trying and retrying I was finally able to get the plugin up and running (figuring our how to make the missing Command -switch appeared was quite a pain in the a**; maybe that should be added into the wiki?). Anyhow, as mentioned the plugin was fired up yesterday and the command switch ...

Delay for PIR? [Solved]
I've a couple of motion detectors that send snapshots to Telegram when motion is detected. The basic setup works nicely, but motion is detected a bit too far away: how to add a delay in dzvents scrip? The current script below. Eg, adding ".afterSec(1)" after the os.execute does not work. return { on ...

Re: Python plugin: Sonoff-Tasmota + Other devices supporting MQTT Discovery
Perfect, that was it - thanks Jake! I got the Sonoff pre-flashed, so didn't pay any attention to the firmware: downloaded tasmota.bin from http://thehackbox.org/tasmota/, uploaded it to switch and immediately it shows up in Domoticz. Case closed.
