Every time I reboot my Linux machine my USB changes /dev path and I need to change my zwave stick /dev path maybe this is a similar problem ?

I have an aeon z stick that I got from eBay second hand and it's worked with everything I have thrown at it , although I think the us and Canadian z wave frequencies are different to Europe so that may be a factor

sometimes the zwave items need the button pressed multiple times, my smoke sensors include on first press, then press again and more items appear in domoticz etc.. try pressing multiple times..
