Re: trigger Google Assistant with domoticz via "text query" : Google home is a bridge for domoticz
I don't understand why you have no responses to this but I'm interested and will try this out sometime. I'm up to another (above my paygrade) challenge. I want Google Home to initiate the conversation and talk to me instead of the other way around. For example, I've got tons of situations where I ...
Re: nest v3
I'm tempted to buy a Nest V3 but would it be possible to have Nest integrated in my alarm and other motion scripts? In other words, does the Nest report motion or presence to a readable Domoticz switch? -Edit Just went ahead and installed the Nest v3. It reports the Nest's status "home away" to a ...

Re: Hank Motion Sensor - HKZW-MS02, not that good? or just me messing up?
Quick status update in case someone googles this and wants to know more. I hope someone technical enough will soon implement the HKZW-MS02 into Domoticz. I seem to have them all working now but they are acting funny, would I have known that I would probably not have ordered them and got the more ...

Hank Motion Sensor - HKZW-MS02, not that good? or just me messing up?
I saw these Zwave+ motion sensors becoming available in some webshops and as they are battery but also micro usb powered I decided to buy 3 of them. http://www.hank-tech.com/images/uploadify/20171201/ec5a6659-dbe9-4d79-819c-5f581cb3935d.png I already have some experience with Zwave motion sensors as ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
This has nothing to do with the app but with the phone and OS used. Hence my last sentence "I don't get that Google doesn't change the GPS and doze behavior, the future is now, your home should know when you're in the neighborhood, let us choose to drain the battery 3% faster." As in, it's part of ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
I liked the geofencing idea very much and it worked perfect with iPhones but since I went to Android it's nothing else but crap. The best possible results I had was by using the apps Tasker and Autolocation, I just created all kinds of situations where Tasker enabled gps. For example, if connecting ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Hi all. Anyone who can tell me how I send notifications to the domoticz app? The test button works, but i don't know how to send Lua notifications to these devices after disabling growl etc. Nevermind, I missed the GCM option in the notification settings. Did you ever get this resolved? I am having ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Since we went from iPhones to these Samsungs, it never ever worked properly anymore. I experience the same but not only with domoticz ! its seems to be due to changes in Android (6 and above) to preserve battery. The Gps is turned off as soon as the sreen is off ! Also background programs seem to ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
I'm getting really frustrated about two things on our Samsung Galaxy s7 and s7 Edge. Both running latest possible android updates. I hope someone can help. Geofencing: Me and my girlfriend use the geofencing function to check if anybody is home. If not, Domoticz makes sure that the heating is turned ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
When I enable multiple server addresses in order to add the local wifi and IP of the domoticz server, it automatically puts the remote server on HTTP instead of HTTPS.
I can put it back on HTTPS, save, go back in the menu and it's back on HTTP again. Any way to resolve this?

latest beta geofencing became unreliable again for me. So I removed the location and wanted to add it again. But there is no button to add after putting a needle on the map.

Search on this forum is so frustrating
When I hit an issue or bug with Domoticz, I always want to find the solution myself, before opening a new topic. However, the search is so dramatically bad it usually drives me mad and I can't find what I'm looking for. For example. I wanted to list all topics about somfy RTS, or all topics where ...

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
My widgets are also a bit wonky after updating from stable to beta today. About the geofencing, it seems to toggle the switch _sometimes_ but the app accurately mentions that I enter or leave in all cases. To me this looks like the app can't connect to the server, or the timeout is too quick and the ...

Geofencing
This week, I finally did it, replaced my Iphone 5s for a Samsung S7. Always used the iOS Pilot app for geofencing and it had a 99.9% accuracy. It only happened a couple of times in more than a year that it didn't properly leave or enter. Now with the Android app, it doesn't really work that well ...

Re: Home Easy broadcast current switch status
For that reason I do not connect Domoticz directly to the switches at all. I first connect a physical remote button to a switch (for example button one on the remote is for the light in the kitchen). Then I look up that same remote control button in Domoticz and rename it to "kitchen light". So when ...

Essent (ICY) e-thermostate
The ICY thermostate that is supported by Domoticz can be monitored without issues. Its also possible to change temperature. But there is one downside. When you change the temperature, you change it for the currently set preset, for example "sleep". Is there someone who knows the scripts, not to set ...
