Home Easy broadcast current switch status

Post by lrybak »

Hi,
I've connected Domoticz to Home Easy HE866 switch. The HE866 switch is also connnected with wall mount remote.
Turning on/off switch works with no problem with both wall mount remote and Domoticz, but once I turn on the switch with wall remote, current status is not presented in Domoticz.
Is this a normal behaviour?
HW: HP dc7900 USD running ESXi, RaspberryPi (few of it), AEON S2 USB stick, Fibaro modules (Dimmers, switches), 1-wire (DS18B20, DS2423), DSC Alarm with Envisalink ethernet module, MySensors, RFLink

For that reason I do not connect Domoticz directly to the switches at all. I first connect a physical remote button to a switch (for example button one on the remote is for the light in the kitchen). Then I look up that same remote control button in Domoticz and rename it to "kitchen light". So when I send the on or off command from Domoticz, it's using the same signal as the wall remote. This way, the status is updated correctly (as long as Domoticz received the remote signal).
