Re: Fibaro FGMS-001 settings
I have one controlling my kitchen light and I can't sneak past it, not even to grab a beer out of the fridge. By using (more or less) the default configuration you should be able to get BASIC ON/OFF command frames from your 'sensor device' (idx 150 on your screenshot), burglar/alarm will likely be ...

Re: IKEA, interesting news
I'd love to see some smaller lights/lamps that would fit inside drawers or inside/outside other furniture for moodlighting or just plain illumination at a smaller scale than 'regular smart bulbs'. I would prefer z-wave support out of the box, but that's just me and my wishful thinking. Maybe there's ...

Re: How to update domoticz when built from source
I've struggled with conflicts as well quite a few times, this might be horrible advice (and if anyone says so, do listen to 'em!) ;) But simply removing the conflicting files should have you up and about again, try (if you still have failures I might have missed one or two): rm hardware/SBFSpot.h ...

Re: Fibaro Swipe
I had a little pi-crash so I never got to anything more than the simple swipes, if you figured something out please share. I hope to include it soon-ish again though, but I never was fond of bitmasking so stuff like this is last on my todo list: Value of parameter = 256 * Value of first gesture ...

Re: Fibaro Swipe
I have one up and running with domoticz, had to edit manufacturer_specific.xml and add a swipe xml. But that was over a month ago so inclusion should work out-of-the-box now. Havn't really been using it much, currently it's only controlling 2 lights with basic swipes... Sad really, it does carry ...

Re: Colors with Fibaro RGBW module
The color picker looks like a run-of-the-mill rgb picker, and technically it shouldn't trigger the white led at all. I think I do understand what you're after though. But I think your suggestion would mean that every time you pick a color you would also have to alter the white-level (unless the ...

Re: Is there a guide for new beginners?
A beginners guide for 'real world problems' sounds good in theory, but it will go out of scope pretty fast I reckon. When the author hits chapter III and start explaining computer/network fundamentals and what app would work for which scenario and the required hardware/software needed for it... I ...

Re: Easy "SD Image" installation or step-by-step full instal
Your 'easy' vs. 'full' install wouldn't really be all that different, imho. In the end you get raspbian (wheezy or jessie) with domoticz on it... If you install a lxde or another desktop enviroment there's always the option of not using it (if you have raspi-config just choose to boot to a command ...

Re: Remote UPS for Raspberry
Great guide, thanks!
I somewhat imagined it would be alot harder than this...
(Using a ReadyNAS Pro + APC Back-UPS RS 1500G)
Cheers!
