Wall Mount Touchscreen - Show Your Designs
Hi all, I've read with interest numerous posts on here about wall mount touchscreens. I'm looking for a similar 'permanently on' fixed solution but run the cables through the back of the wall into a cupboard behind. The drawback of all the 'tablet on the wall' solutions I have seen is that they tend ...

Re: NEW frontpage.html - request comments
This is a great feature for Domoticz - thanks for sharing it. As a newbie though I am struggling to create my own frontpage, even after reading through the whole thread... I'm having problems getting my IP Cam working and the popup to work with the doorbell, as well as 'on click' functions (e.g ...

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
Ace thanks Mike - did those changes and found a rogue quotation I had left in. Works great now. Can you suggest any way to keep the stat value in sync if it's changed locally? I notice that if the temperature is changed via the Hive app (or locally on the Thermostat) then the temperature on the ...

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
Hi Mike, Thanks very much for sharing this useful script. I'm having some problems with my Hive (2) in getting this to work... have followed the instructions but my target and room temp stay as zero - the Thermostat however does update ok. I have checked the logs and can't see any errors, cron ...

Re: Dericam camera support (H502W)
Hi Hans, I would say almost certainly yes. I've now got several cams, most of which are different models of cheap Chinese versions and they all work fine. This Dericam looks similar to one of mine (albeit better quality) and the firmware appears identical, so I have no doubt it will be ok. The ...

Re: Is it possible to control Sky HD box?
Yes exactly - being a doorbell the tat will always be on, unless momentarily when activated. For mine only the 'On' command actually works for the purposes of scripts.

Re: Is it possible to control Sky HD box?
Hi Lee, You would need to create a virtual switch in Domoticz, via 'Setup > Hardware'. Add a type 'Dummy' - when it appears in the list you can then click 'Create Virtual Sensors' add a 'Switch' sensor. Now in 'Setup > Devices' it should appear - click the green arrow to add it to the Switches tab ...

Re: Is it possible to control Sky HD box?
Hi Lee, Welcome from another newbie! The answer to your question is a BIG yes - and you can do lots more too! If you're not familiar with writing scripts then check out the wiki (and forum) for using Domoticz's 'Blockly' wysiwyg events interface :-) I'm using a Mac too and there are some great ways ...

Re: #2215 Custom Icons uploader Implemented
Hi, This is rally useful thank you. I see that people have created custom icons for various devices (cameras, motion sensors, door contacts etc) - is it possible to use this. Currently I only get the option for a custom icon for On/Off Switches... is it possible to use these on other items that ...
