Re: Home Intruder Alarm using Security Panel
Also working on such.
I think best is to split the project up and built smaller parts. At the end you can start combining / expanding stuff.
First start small and simple: couple of sensors/security panel /siren.
Later work on optimizing the arming/disarming/panic button/key fob

Re: Scene switching causes faulty status of zwave switch
See this thread:
https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!top ... hH6rtiyyaA
It involves that fibaro wallplugs give wrong status.
I don't use the power usage function (only led lamps behind it)

restore/repair domoticz installation
last night had issues with Fibaro Wallplugs. After resetting some Zwave plugs, seemed to that my OpenZwave part had been broken or something. None of the powered nodes would come alive, and the Openzwave log was buggy:

Re: Scene switching causes faulty status of zwave switch
Solved this issue: only thing that worked was resetting the Fibaro Wallplugs that had issues!
(did anyone ever achieve to exclude a Wall Plug in combination with a Aeon Stick? I keep pressing the B button insanely, but never get's excluded!)

Re: Scene switching causes faulty status of zwave switch
This evening the status updating annoyed me so much, it was time to check what is going wrong.
I have the idea there is something wrong in the openzwave configuration:
In the control panel of Z-Wave i select a Fibaro wallplug. The current values tab shows as Switch: ON. this is correct status and ...

Re: Scene switching causes faulty status of zwave switch
still trying to get this fixed.
Another example of how weird it is (and not sure if it's Domoticz or OpenZwave causing it)
I have a light called Couch.
The lamp switched ON on 16:00 (1 hour before sunset) automatically because of a scene. But the Status of this light stayed OFF although the light ...

Re: Scene switching causes faulty status of zwave switch
Dont know if this helps, but the controller (node number 1), should be in all the nodes 'group 1'
in your switch manual, also check where the switch status is send to, maybe this is 'group 3' then you need to add the controller (number 1) in group 3
How do i check where the switch status is sent ...

i will check when back, but AFAIK i have a pretty reliable network.gizmocuz wrote:You have to double check your mesh network, seems some switches are not always received.
How far are they apart?
But to me it seems a OFF command is sended when not needed. And an ON sended when OFF is needed?

Scene switching causes faulty status of zwave switch
have 10 zwave light switches.
All lamps are switched on/of by scenes.
Problem is that when a scene is executed both an ON and OFF is being sent (according to domoticz Switch Log) but the correct z-wave action is done (so ON when ON is needed and OFF when OFF is needed).
let me put down some logs ...
