if anyone's interested i got this working by getting camera to upload snapshot on motion to nas and used incron to monitor folder and toggle virtual switch and blocky to turn on outside light if it's night time and virtual switch set to on (dirty i know)... but i've also realised this may be a bit ...

LightwaveRF is also using the Byron SX protocol! If so, what's the meaning of protocol named "AD/LightwaveRF"? Does both have to be enabled to get LightwaveRF devices working? even if it didn't use the Byron SX, the AD/LightwaveRF protocol also affects Oregon given as one of the examples in the ...

can't get the darn thing to "unlearn" even after being unplugged for from socket and doorbell battery removed for 30mins! lol but makes sense how to do it now thanks!

It seems some buttons are not received or sometimes received. We will do some tests next week with a few buttons and create a new firmware version. Fantastic news! Have you tried this doorbell with RFXmngr? no i haven't - that was going to be my next step but might hold off now until after next week

Btw firmware on RFXtrx433E USB is: 236 altho domoticz lists it as RFXtrx433 USB... is that right?

i couldn't get this to work no matter how much i tried :-( confirmed mode on RFX was set to undec on and byron SX (everything else is set by default mode except lightwaverf is also enabled) confirmed accept new hardware was enabled, i even tried with "allow for 5 minutes"... i did unhandled data ...
