Re: RFLink no dev/usb to select in Domoticz
Could it be the power supply? Are you using a proper power supply for the pi? I assume you use the USB cable to connect the pi to the mega, thus powered by the pi? I have seen similar strange issues that where in the end related to the power supply. Could be something, not sure, could be a lot of ...

Re: Confused over remote access
I think you talk about 2 different things here. Authentication and encryption. Authentication is the part where you work with users and such. Read about that over here: https://sancla.com/domoticz/securing-domoticz-authentication/ Encryption is SSL certificates and Let's Encrypt. It's about HTTPS ...

Assuming that you installed Raspbian for this, you could follow these instructions:
https://raspberry-projects.com/pi/softw ... ls/gparted
Let us know how that works out for you and if you need any more help with that...

Ive got a trouble with install. GnuTLS: Error in the pull function. Unable to establish SSL connection. Can you try again? Maybe the system was too busy. I tested the download just now and it does work from my system. domoticz.com seems to be under ddos attacks quite frequently and that could have ...

Re: update domoticz from 3.7 (2017 version)
First, make a proper backup of your files. It does not hurt and makes you have a roll back scenario in all fails. You can even make a complete image backup of you current raspberry pi instance. Just to be sure, write down your current distro and Domoticz version. To make a backup, check this article ...

Re: Setting Domoticz app
I understand what you are saying, but imho the price is reasonable. Especially given that it's a one time fee and the app continues to be actively developed and updated. The app also provides geo capabilities that you can use to program events. For example, I know when my wife or myself is home and ...

Glad you got it working again!
Your solution would suggest that the default port(s) are already being used. Out of curiosity, do you have any other (web)services or plugins active that could be using this port(s)?

Hi Jim,
Try to follow the guide I sent you earlier.
It will show you step by step how to get Domoticz up and running, including the proper commands and screenshots.
Another way is to read up on the official Domoticz wiki, there is a lot of information about this topic on that wiki.
