Re: install domoticz 4.9700, or other older versions.
Allright, Ive got domoticz stable version 4.10717 running on ubuntu as a virtual machine in synology! It has zwave 1.4 so for now this is the best i can find that comes close to domoticz 4.9700. I am happy! Oke what i did was install it on ubuntu 18.04 instead of 20.04, that did the trick. So this ...

Re: install domoticz 4.9700, or other older versions.
Thanks, I tried to install the stable version in your link. Did it with these steps/commands: #1 stop domoticz (sudo service domoticz.sh stop) #2 Remove the domoticz folder (rm -rf domoticz) #3 Make a new domoticz folder (mkdir domoticz) #4 Go to that folder (cd domoticz) #5 Download domoticz (wget ...

install domoticz 4.9700, or other older versions.
Hi, Is there a way to install a older version like domoticz 4.9700 with a command? Or where can i download the older versions? With the broadlink api or python i can install different versions within the commandline, that seems not the case for domoticz. I'm running ubuntu 20.04 as a virtual machine ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
This domoticz plugin is based on the broadlink 0.8 api. 0.14 doesnt work, 0.10 does work yeah. you can install and uninstall different versions with these commands sudo pip3 uninstall broadlink This uninstalls the version that is installed on your setup. sudo pip3 install broadlink installs the ...

Re: Blockly's saved in a folder instead of in the database
Thank you very much!
I will look into that,
I guess the best way to secure your working setup is to backup the sd-card to a image. Its a little time consuming but, at least i'm sure it is 100% safe!
Anyway, thanks all, really really love domoticz!

Re: Blockly's saved in a folder instead of in the database
Oke this is entirely new for me, thanks! I'm gonna sort that out.
Another question, when after a fault, crash, or whatever, can i be absolute sure that ,when uploading a database file to a fresh running sd-card image doesnt contain any shit that will break my fresh image running domoticz?

Re: Blockly's saved in a folder instead of in the database
Thank you all for your answers. My database files where between 15 and 24 mb large, i manage to keep it smaller between 4 and 8 mb by making the log sensor days smaller. Anyway, last night i did write the backup image with win32diskmanager to another samsung sd-card, and it seems i can load now ...

Re: pi #2 check if domoticz running on pi #1 is online
But i don't want it to reboot, or send a message, or a mail, i want it to turn off a dummy switch or a idx # I readed the manual, but it seems thats not possible. I think my best bet is to trigger a dummy relay with a 10 seconds timer, every 5 seconds domoticz will trigger that relay, if domoticz is ...

Re: pi #2 check if domoticz running on pi #1 is online
hmm, it looks like both services only restart domoticz, but cannot trigger a dummy switch. I need this for a fail safe, both raspberry #1 and #2 will run relais, those relais from #1 and #2 are in serial and will only power a device if both relais are switched on , so if domoticz #1 is offline ...

Re: pi #2 check if domoticz running on pi #1 is online
You can use node-red with a webhook http://127.0.0.1:8080/json.htm?type=command¶m=getversion from same machine or with network IP from another. I use it to monitor Domoticz then restart it if it has failed. Here is the original thread by the person who created the flow that I used. https://www ...

pi #2 check if domoticz running on pi #1 is online
Hi, I am setting up a second raspberry setup with domoticz as a failsafe for some critical stuff. That second raspberry will run only some relais directly on his gpio pins, so far so good. Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
Hi, thanks for your answer.
Yeah my problem is more related to phyton, the plugin itself has no troubles once i installed it.
Could you explain what the phyton-broadlink-0.8 folder does? and what it is for?
Thanks!

Oke i tried it, didnt work out also excluded and included a sensor.
I guess i have to wait till an new stable build comes out. By the way, i copied the zwave.me folder from the beta .tgz file to the config folder of my raspberry where i first deleted the original zwave.me folder.
