Re: Wifi RFLink
Although mine worked flawlessly for a couple of weeks over WiFi, iT all of a sudden started having connection issues. This does not seem to be related to the mega but to the ESP and the ESPEasy firmware, I started experiencing similar issues as reported in this thread: https://github.com/esp8266 ...

Re: Advice for a living room thermostat
Thanks Joostnl, However this is making it even more complicated and confusing to be honest. You say the device is working perfectly, but if I look on the RFLink supported devices list I can’t see it. Am I overlooking something and if so what other non listed room thermostats are supported? List of s ...

Advice for a living room thermostat
Perhaps that would be the next step, but for now a simple snap-in replacement for the single room thermostat would be ok. All I would want to do at the moment is to have domoticz control the temperature based on time of day etc. My current thermostat seems to loose all it’s programmed schemes. I w ...

Re: Philips Living Color first Gen
What coincidence, I see that gizmocuz has made a fix for what I suppose is actually causing this issue on the GitHub repo this afternoon some 4 hours ago. Not sure how long it, in general, takes for a new stable Domoticz release to come out? I'll wait for that fix to come through on some next stable ...

Re: Philips Living Color first Gen
Well, although it was hard I somehow did manage to get all those ridiculously small wires soldered and to my surprise, it's working :-) none the less I'm now at the same stage are where you guys where. I do see the remote show-up on the log correctly, I was able to get the lamp to show-up on the ...

Advice for a living room thermostat
Hi Guys, I’ve been playing with my new RFLink gateway and domoticz in the last week and all seems to be working quite well. I’m now looking to do some next projects and the next that comes to mind is to replace my living room thermostat (currently a Honeywell chronotherm IV) with an RF compatible the ...

Re: Simple Doorbell Blockly event is not triggered
Ah, right that explains it. I’ll have a look at rewriting the block and will post an update later if I do manage to get it working.
Thanks for your help so-far

Simple Doorbell Blockly event is not triggered
Hi All, I'm not so sure what to do next and how to move on. Tried every possible angle but I simply can't seem to get a doorbell driven blockly event to run stable. Occasionally it is fired but most of the time it is not. In the log I see the below: 2018-01-25 20:15:59.547 RFLink: 20;6D;ElroDB;ID ...

ESPEasy Light sensor Domoticz
Hi All, I’m not sure if I’m in the right forum or if it should be moved elsewhere. I only recently started to play with domoticz and arduino and was hoping to switch my lights on and off based on a light sensor. I ordered a sensor from RobotDyn http://s.aliexpress.com/yAZjyu2u I was hoping to con ...

Re: Wifi RFLink
Hi Brommetje, I did not try that, but I just did that last night for another ESPEasy project I was working on and I can see the serial data there when I connect the telnet client. What settings are your dipswitch on? And did you also changed the RX/TX port on the mega. This is one of the other ...

Re: Wifi RFLink
Since I’m a beginner myself I’m not able to guide you from here. Seems that you managed to properly set-up on the software side. Since you don’t see any data on the telnet connection it seems you might have a reception issue. I had similar errors with reconnects when I had no receiver connected yet. ...

Re: Wifi RFLink
I just checked and settings seem correct, mine are exactly the same. Did you set the controller IP address, protocol to “Domoticz HTTP” and the port your HTTP server is running on?
Those settings can be found on the “config” tab on the ESPEasy.

Re: Wifi RFLink
Hi @Brommetje, I don’t know from the top of my head, but from memory I can recal that the baudrate should be set to 96000 instead. Exact details where mentioned in this thread on page 2 if I’m not mistaken.
I’ll see if I can make a screenshot ones I’m home

Re: Wifi RFLink
For now I only did some tests adding some of my Smartwares (Action) and KaKu light switches. I saw no errors in the log except for some occasional disconnects due to myself powering off the mega to do some wiring adjustments. What errors do you see exactly so I can keep an eye out for them? You did ...

Re: Wifi RFLink
Hi Guys, Finally my parts arrived in various shipments in the last couple of days. I managed to flash the Robotdyn Mege + WiFi. Step 1 Load the ESPEasy R120 release: I set the dip switch 5, 6, 7 to ON. The rest of the switches to OFF. Loaded to flash tool on my Windows PC, selected the appropriate ...

Good to hear, I’ll be ordering my parts later Today. I have no experience with any of the components so I’m happy to hear how it works out for you and as I already asked @MaikelK, it would be nice to see some real-life photo’s of this setup.

Re: Wifi RFLink
Hi I'm interested in this solution, where I can find a power supply for this Atmega2560+ESP? I was not able to find it on Aliexpress. Thanks Hi Woody4165 as far as I can tell a regular 2.1 center positive 7-12v charger should do. The first hit on AliExpress I get is: http://s.aliexpress.com ...
