Re: Respond to Button Press in Domoticz
After reading some other threads I see that the answer is to add an Activation Device to a scene!

Respond to Button Press in Domoticz
I'm just learning about z-wave and Domoticz, but I am amazed that handling button presses are so elusive!
I have a dimmer (Aeotec Nano ZW111) that has two inputs for physical switches S1 and S2.

S1 and S2 can be configured to trigger other nodes.

Re: Duplicate Z-Wave ID (bug?)
I seemed to have built up a collection of unused RGBW devices. Deleted them. I can use the new light now.

Re: Duplicate Z-Wave ID (bug?)
Ah, that's good to know. In that case, the problem is that I just can't see the second globe in Domoticz. I can see it in OpenHAB, so I know it works. (I just tried OpenHAB to see if it works - I'm not running any other system in parallel or anything like that).

Duplicate Z-Wave ID (bug?)
I included two new Aeotec Z-Wave bulbs to my network.
The second bulb has been given the same ID as the first bulb. Is that a bug?
It doesn't appear in the devices list either, so I can't use it. I've tried removing it and re-adding it, but it gets given the same ID each time.
Any ideas ...

Re: Use Switches in Aeotec Nano Dimmer
I have managed to add other z-wave devices directly to the groups, but I am still curious if I can add Domoticz itself to a group somehow?

Re: Use Switches in Aeotec Nano Dimmer
After hours of trying to solve this puzzle, I have discovered that S1 signals "Group 3" and S2 signals "Group 4".
How can I receive the events sent to these Z-Wave groups in Domoticz? Is it possible?

Use Switches in Aeotec Nano Dimmer
I have an Aeotec Nano Dimmer connected and working nicely with a clipsal bell press switch connected to S1. S2 is not connected to anything.
In the config for the Nano I see that the switches S1 and S2 can be configured to power the load and or other nodes. From this setting I presume I can access ...

Re: Add Aeotec Gen5 USB
Thanks everyone. This is all working now. It seemed that by adding another device to the network things became more noticeably alive.

Re: Add Aeotec Gen5 USB
Then what? The USB device keeps flashing blue, yellow, red. I can't work out how to configure it.
Domoticz has picked up the model number correctly though, so it does seem to be working I guess. Also has green status tick.

Add Aeotec Gen5 USB
How do I add a Aeotec Gen5 USB controller to Domoticz?
I'm new to Domoticz and z-wave. I just received an Aeotec Gen5 USB controller. I also have an Aeotec dimmer, but I haven't wired that in yet.
