HomeWizard Wi-Fi Energy Socket plugin
For those who need it I wrote a python plugin for the HomeWizard Wi-Fi Energy Socket. You can get it over here on Github . The plugin creates 3 devices: - An energy meter for current power usage and total energy consumption. - A switch to toggle the socket on and off. - A wifi signal strength meter ...

Re: Watermeter number scale
Hello @Eraser I'm sorry, I have no experience and do not use any Python plugin. But there are a lot of Python users on this forum, so maybe one of them can answer your question. Regards I found it. For anyone looking for the same value, it's "MeterDividerWater". You don't need to restart the plugin ...

Re: Mosquitto 2.0.12 errors
Thanks for this. I changed "max_keepalive" in Mosquitto from 10 to 1000 and now everything works fine again.
I don't know if this value represents seconds or milliseconds but I guess the latter.

Re: Watermeter number scale
Hi, @Erasor, Check your settings in "Meters/Counters". For "Water" the default divider is 100, but you can change that. See: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Application_Settings Regards Thanks! Never knew that there was a setting for this. Do you also know how to read that setting from a Python ...

Watermeter number scale
I'm developing a plugin for my new HomeWizard Wi-Fi Watermeter. I already have a device working for the (live) waterflow but I'm having some problems with the device that shows the daily usage and totals. I'm using the "Counter" (113) device type with Subtype 0 and Switchtype 2. My watermeter ...

Re: Nodes don't report status
Try an Aeotec Gen5 stick. After I replaced my S2 stick with Gen5, my network became rock-solid. That's not a real solution, is it. Another solution would be not to use domotica at all. Besides, if I would replace the stick I would need to exclude/include all my nodes (again!). Some of them ...

Re: Nodes don't report status
Does really nobody knows how these status updates work? You can clearly see that my controller doesn't have a direct connection to all nodes. And the nodes that don't have a direct connection don't update their status. Is this a bug in Domoticz? Are there any other people who have a similar setup ...

Re: Nodes don't report status
My nodes are still not updating their status. This is really annoying. I have tried re-including them, healing the network and adding the nodes to groups but nothing worked. I've also updated Domoticz to the latest stable version. For the record, switching them on/off from Domoticz works fine. But ...

Re: WHY is my account removed???
Your question about the forum being hacked is valid. But the forum has nothing to do with the development (source code) of Domoticz. I'm taking a guess here but I don't think that Domoticz itself can become vulnerable if the forum is being hacked. That being said, is this phpBB forum up-to-date? The ...

Re: Z-Stick not working after factory reset.
You should always try to exclude your nodes before you factory reset the controller. Any Z-wave device still included will stop working because it thinks it is still included. That's for security reasons so nobody can include your already included devices. The only possible solution would be to ...

Re: Nodes don't report status
Related to the Fibaro FGS223 is not working well topic? https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13209&start=120#p120185 Not entirely. My modules do update their status when they are in range of the controller. The problems appear when they are not in range of the controller directly and ...

Re: Nodes don't report status
Thanks for your suggestion, Domosapiens. I'm afraid it didn't work. The device still does not report its status. I have more Fibaro relays in my network and none of them need manual group association to report status. They all have Group 3 automatically associated with the controller (1) and that ...

Nodes don't report status
I have some Fibaro Relay Swithces that don't seem to report their status when switched manually (through S1 or S2). The problem probably lies in the distance between the nodes and the Z-wave controller. There are enough other nodes in between to create a good mesh network. So status updates shouldn ...

Re: Z-wave Nodes die for no reason
As a final solution to the problems i did a hard reset on the controller and included all nodes again. Some nodes even needed a reset because they couldn't be excluded properly before the hard reset. But everything works again. I haven't seen any dead nodes since my hard reset. I don't know what the ...

Re: Soft/hard reset controller?
I just tested a Soft Reset and my nodes disappeared from the Setup list. After restarting Domoticz they came back. The controller probably didn't wipe them. I still don't know what a soft reset does, but at least we know it doesn't remove nodes. After that I tried a Hard Reset (which clearly states ...

Re: Soft/hard reset controller?
Found this thread while searching for the same answer. A hard reset is that the controller gets a "factory reset". So all information and nodes on it will be wiped.
But what is a soft reset? Is it just a controller reboot without wiping or.... ?
