Re: How to catch a Somfy Telis4 remote?
The rfxcom 433e device is unable to receive at the somfy frequency, it only has a (extra) transmitter for that. .it can only transmit using device codes you set manualy on the rfxcom which yo can then learn into the somfy devices like you did. It not just that the rfxcom cannot decode the somfy rts ...

Link X10 (mochad) and RFXCom Lighting 2 devices to 1 switch
I have the following setup at home : - 3 X10 controlled lamps (3 different X10 switches, using the same house/device code D1) - 1 X10 wall transmitter that uses that same code (D1)to switch those lights on/off - Domoticz setup with mochad -> light switch that sends out that same X10 code D1 though ...

Re: Building a wired RS485 Mysensor network
Actualy, i am building sort of the same setup.. I prefer using wired nodes connected through RS485 for most of my sensors as well. largely because the wiring is/was already there from a previous sensor network setup.. My Energy meter uses Modbus over RS485.. What i did is to conect the modbus/rs485 ...

Re: Building a wired RS485 Mysensor network
Sure, Should work just fine with my sensors.. The mysensors pages will give you information on how to setup a serial rs485 gateway by using an arduino or directly connected to a raspberry pi.. Just uae max485 chip or module from aliexpress or ebay.. Install the mysensors library in the arduino IDE ...

Sensor/device blacklist?
I live in an apartment building so my rfxcom is picking up a lot of 433mhz sensors, rfcontrolled outlets etc. From neighbours poluting my devices list.. No big deal, but i would like to be able to "blacklist" them, so domoticz ignores them and nolonger shows them in the device list? Is there such a ...

Re: How to use native Mochad with CM15pro ??
Found out the correct way to use it myself.. It is quite simple.. The Wiki page is no longer the best way to go (as mentioned there).. Step by Step : - Install and configure Mochad itself. - In Domoticz go to Setup -> Hardware -> And add a "Mochad CM15Pro/CM19A bridge with LAN interface" Since ...

Re: Use proper 1-wire master - DS2482-800 - with Domoticz ?
I have had such a system active for quite a while connected to my pi before switching to domoticz, mainly for monitoring temperatures in my heating systems and guarding my water leakage sensors etc.. i am in doubt about reusing the system or converting the "hub" nodes in that network to MySensors ...

Use proper 1-wire master - DS2482-800 - with Domoticz ?
My "old" sensor bus uses loads of DS1820 sensors and other 1-wire devices, connected to the raspberry pi through some DS2482-800 - 8-Channel 1-Wire Master chips. These are connected to the rpi through the I2C bus, which works great.. Does domoticz support the use of these chips directly ? or only ...

Domoticz & Block heating -> can only control individual radiators
I live in an apartment that uses block heating. There's a central furnace system that delivers warm water to all tenants to use for heating their homes. The only way to control this is by the valves on the individual radiators themselves and/or by mounting a motorized valve on the inlet pipes to the ...

RS485 bus voltage ? can yo mix 5v and 3/3v transceivers ?
Hi Guys, I have used the RS485 bus before.. but that was between industrial devices etc.. or connected to a bought RS485 to RS232 adapter plugged into a RS232 port on a pc.. But this time it's for my home domoticz setup.. I don't want to keep plugging in usb converters into my rpi3 for everything so ...

Re: Cheap 433mhz sockets compatible with rfxcom at "action"
The devices use the lighting2 type, subtype ac. The remotes each have a different base ID. The channel buttons a - d use unit id 2-5 and are picked up by domoticz automatically. Master on/off buttons just send on or off for id 2-5 after each other. The sockets are not bound to the remote they came ...

I would like to add a regular and a uv light sensor to my setup to measure outdoor light en uv intensity. The sensors itself should no be too hard.. But I am struggling with the housing for the sensors. I would like to protect the sensors from the environment bus as far as I know, even regular glass ...

Re: Raspberry pi MySensors gateway on SPI + Domoticz ?
you can use a basic USB GPS.. But the best solution is to get a gps module that has a PPS output (pulse per second).. aliexpress sells gps modules with a serial interface + pps output for around 8 euros.
