enever output
Has someone already a script which shows electricity prices today and tomorrow in a text device?
I'm struggeling already for hours with it. User vars do show correct values.

Re: enever output
This is wat i use for the hourly price today:
My Domoticz runs in Docker on a Synology nas so i use 'http://127.17.0.2:80' to reach inside the container, adjust accordingly
I get the stats for Zonneplan from the Enever website at midnight once and these are stored under user-variable 9.
Every hour the correct hour is highlighted and a custom sensor is updated with the price of the hour.
This works 99% of the time correct but this script will become somewhat obsolete after the 1st of august because Zonneplan is moving to quater hourly prices then.
The script works good for me on a windows laptop showing chrome, don't know how it wil look on other devices..
Code: Select all

That is the uservariable IDX where in my Domoticz the string of data from Enever (Enever_Electricity_22) is stored, see Setup-More Options-User variables what your IDX is.

Why a text device? Why not create a custom template page for it like the screenshot below

Nice!! Personally i have not tried custom template's yet, but what i have running now is simple and easy to read on the dashboard by the whole family here... And i'm a fan of textdevices..(i use them a lot

Re: enever output
Yep, the tomorrow data of yesterday is not cleared at midnight, but i don't use the Enever plugin anymore since the plugin stopped functioning 2 months ago for a view Weeks..
I have this separate script to get the user variables updated, it uses 5 requests per day so it's well under the 250 request limit from the Enever account..
It's a simple script and it just works 99% like i want it to do.. (for now...)
The reason of the timing in the script to not to run exactly on midnight is because Enever site can take a view minutes over the hour updating the new data..

I've created a Domoticz Zonneplan plugin for personal use (provided as-is): https://github.com/frepke/Zonneplan-Domoticz-Plugin
With the included dzVents script below (which depends on the plugin and a text device), you can get this:

Hi gizmocuz, "Why not create a custom template page for it like the screenshot below"
You mean the custom html page in the templates map?
With what graph engine did you create that page? Grafana? Could you please post an example HTML of yours?
Thanks!

Re: enever output
Quick remark,
Zonneplan is just 1 Dutch energy supplier, also Enever is supplying data for a lot of Dutch energy suppliers..
So not all the users of Domoticz wil this be useful if they use another supplier and certanly not useful for people living outside the Netherlands..

Re: enever output
Yes that's correct, but the Enever prices aren't always the correct ones for Zonneplan so I decided to make a plugin which shows the same prices as the Zonneplan app/website because it uses Zonneplan as source.RonkA wrote: Wednesday 08 July 2026 16:34 Quick remark,

Re: enever output
Ok, my remark was pointed at infoed's post, it's not about your plugin..
To your contribution to this thread i want to say that the plugin looks great on your dashboard!! and i will try to install and use it in the near future in my setup..
The text-device created is IMHO waayy to long and spacious for my liking so i wil not be using that in it's original form but maybe rewrite it sometime to keep it at 24 hours displayed with 3 hour history in the text-device..

No worries, I wasn't feel attacked. I just clarified why I made the plugin.RonkA wrote: Thursday 09 July 2026 10:36 Ok, my remark was pointed at infoed's post, it's not about your plugin..
The text file created by the plugin with all the json content you can simply disable in the devices tap (it will st work), the other text file filed with the data from the dzVents script was a quick script I've made as an example what maybe @Bartsr can use if he want.

RonkA wrote: Wednesday 08 July 2026 16:34 Quick remark,
Zonneplan is just 1 Dutch energy supplier, also Enever is supplying data for a lot of Dutch energy suppliers..
So not all the users of Domoticz wil this be useful if they use another supplier and certanly not useful for people living outside the Netherlands..
I designed a new Day-Ahead Electricity Prices plugin and Claude coded it.
You can find it @ https://github.com/Poppinkpop/domoticz- ... rts-prices
It gets prices from energy-charts.info for 10 countries/bidding zones: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany-Luxembourg, France, Austria, Denmark West, Denmark East, Norway South, Poland, Spain. Add the hardware again with a different country to track more than one at once.
Bugs bug me.

Re: enever output
I installed it and it is running OK, but I see an error on the log:
What does this mean?
Code: Select all
Error: dzVents: Method updateCustomSensor is not available for device "Enever Price Sensor" (deviceType=General, deviceSubType=Text). If you believe this is not correct, please report.Hans

Re: enever output
That is an error from a dzvents script and not related to this plugin.manjh wrote: Sunday 12 July 2026 12:43 I installed it and it is running OK, but I see an error on the log:

Re: enever output
Right. I installed the code from the top of this topic, that throws the error.
