@all,
I only have one request using the M-air application on Domotics.
I owe three airco units in my home. All Mitsubishi have industrie models.
The first in my living works flawlessly with Domotics via the airconwithme application.
My second unit in my bedroom still has no connection with Domotics.
My third unit in the attic works with the application M-air which isn’t known by Domotics.
I bought online another WIFI module which was supposed to be the one with the airconwithme application. However, when I opened the package it appeared not to be the module I expected. The webshop won’t accept that I return my not opened package. I didn’t even installed it so I must set it up with the M-air application which doesn’t work with Domotics.
Is there a chance that the M-air application will come available on Domotics in the near future. This would be really nice.
Possibility adding the Mitsubishi heavy industry M-air WIFI module available in Domotics.

Hi,
Is this unit the same as the one described at https://community.home-assistant.io/t/m ... air/447917?

Hi,
Thanks for the fast response. Indeed, the module I use is the WF-RAC.
I have already one in use but this module doesn’t work in Domotics. The dealer doesn’t want to take it back although I specifically ordered the previous module which work with the app airconwithme although the package is not even opened / installed so I hope it will be possible in due time that these units will also work in domoticz.
Kind regards
Franzel

Hi @franzel ,
I always say, if it can be done in Home Assistant or any other Home automation platform, it can also be done in Domoticz.
However, you can not expect that all equipment, available around the world, will function in Domoticz out of the box.
So, as it is not supported (yet), you have to make it yourself.
But serious, most pieces of equipment can be connected to Domoticz.
Most readers of this forum will probably know that my tool for this kind of tasks will be Node-RED.
See: https://nodered.org/
Fortunately someone already created a custom node for the WF-RAC.
See: https://flows.nodered.org/node/@program ... con-rac-wf
These two custom nodes can probably be combined in a flow I made some years ago for a user with a Haier AC
See: https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... ilit=Haier
or the one, I made for another user for a Panasonic AC:
See: https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... =panasonic
If you feel, this is the way to go for, I expect from you, that
- You install on your device Node-RED
- You read the basic documentation, so that you can export and import flows.
- Do some debugging and testing
- Read the Haier thread, so that you know how this will work
The process to create a complete working flow for Haier took about 1 month, but a lot of thing have already been done.
Let me know.
Regards

If I understand it correctly, now you have 2 devices, that do not work in Domoticz.I have already one in use but this module doesn’t work in Domotics
That will depend on the programming skillsI hope it will be possible in due time that these units will also work in domoticz.

Did you also tried with the native hardware "Mitsubishi WF RAC Airco with LAN (HTTP) interface"?
Use it myself

@firewizard
Unfortunately my programming skills are zero so I can’t be of any help to create a plugin for this hardware.
@gizmocuz
I guess this WT-RAC module can be found in my network environment but apart from this I have no clue what to do with it. I will try to discover whether there is some kind of webinterface.

if it works with the smart-air app the native hardware should work..
It is on my home with 2x both factory wifi and 1x "addon" wifi. (2022 model)
- Maybe there are more versions of the wifi module and yours is different ?
- Maybe your wifi client is in isolated mode ?
note : some devices only support one(1) external controller ( app or domoticz) at a time.
So try when you app is closed and the connection is timed-out
Rpi & Win x64. Using : cam's,RFXCom, LaCrosse, RFY, HuE, google, standard Lua, Tasker, Waze traveltime, NLAlert&grip2+,curtains, vacuum, audioreceiver, smart-heating&cooling + many more (= automate all repetitive simple tasks)
