Pairing issue konke motion sensor

Hi,

I have receive two konke motion sensor. This model :

Normaly, this sensor is compatible with zigate.
I have a problem. The pairing phase no detect the sensor. I have nothing in domoticz log. As if nothing was happening.

I press 10s with a paper clip on the sensor button.
The sensor flashes/blink.
But there is no reaction in domoticz or web GUI Zigate.
The sensor is not seen and there is nothing in the logs in domoticz.

I test with a water sensor xiaomi and i have no pairing issue with this other sensor.
I use domoticz beta last version, zigate plugin beta last version and zigate firmware 3.1c.

Could you help me ? I am available to perform all possible tests.

I suspect that you are not on Channel 15 as Konke required to be on Channel 15

Be ware that moving to a new channel, will required you to re-pair all existing devices to the new channel.

To move to a new channel, you have to use the Plugin Web Admin interface

-> In settings you need to set Channel to 15
-> Go Admin -> Zigate -> Restart Zigate

Yes. I am in channel 0 ....
it's a huge constraint. Especially if I have another device that requires another channel.

0 is leaving the Zigate to select the channel. You need to check on whcih channel the Zigate is really (most-likely 11), You can get this information from the Logs, from the Notification Widget in Domoticz (Utility) or via the Web Admin interface -> Tools -> Zigate Infos

What you can try is the following:

- Switch to channel 15 and Reset Zigate
from now, the existing devices are not paired

- do the pairing of the Konke devices
- check that they work

- Switch back to Channel to the previous channel (not 0, but the real one)
- Do a reset again, then the ZIgate will be on the previous channel and your devices should rework

Most-likely, the Konke will switch to this channel also. (at least I have seen that working with 11)

To reset the Zigate

You have to through the Plugin Web Admin Page -> Admin -> Zigate

I have a last question. There is really a chance that konke sensor change of canal ? Why reason sensor will change canal if zigate change?

During the first change in canal 15, my actual sensor will no change...

I'm just sharing what I did experienced. Looks like the Konke has such capabilities at least to swicth to Channel 11 (this is what I saw). I have seen few other devices ( Heiman for instance), but also quiet a large number not following the change like Ikea, Xiaomi ....
