Other than the older Fibaro door sensor, is there
a) a bottery-operated doorbell (ie, really just a zwave button with battery that can be glued/screwed/tied near the gate
or
b) a door sensor which can take a signal from an external contact and thus trigger a scene?
or another solution for a doorbell that does not require power at the
door/gate? The cheaper the better
Z-Wave battery operated boorbell (or door sensor with external contact)

I use the Neo Coolcam door sensor with two wires soldered in parallel over the magnetic reed switch. Works perfectly and cheaper than Fibaro.

I soldered out the reed switch. And on the 2 point where the reed switch was connected, i soldered the new wires
