433mhz ireless door sensor not visible for RFXtrx433E

Post by SgtKoopie »

Hello,

I'm just starting with Domoticz. I am running Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi and connected an RFXtrx433E. After watching this video "Low cost door sensor in Domoticz Rflink setup" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oq-hN-RJ2sA) I bought two of these low cost door sensors: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/433mhz- ... 59583.html
Unfortunately the sensors don't seem to show up in Domoticz under Devices when I activate the sensor.
Does anybody know how to tackle this problem?
Regards,
Pepijn

You check with only Lighting4 enabled in RFXmngr.
This sensor is not in the list of supported sensors.
Please see chapter 2 in the RFXtrx User Guide for the list of supported devices.
RFX-433, RFX-433EMC, RFX-868

Thanks for the quick response. I tried the sensor in RFXmngr with Lightning 4 enabled. I got the following respons:
------------------------------------------------
Packettype = Lighting4
subtype = PT2262
Sequence nbr = 47
Code = 6CC60E decimal:7128590
S1- S24 = 0110 1100 1100 0110 0000 1110
Pulse = 447 usec
Signal level = 7 -64dBm
------------------------------------------------
Next I checked the sensor with Domoticz on the Raspberry Pi, and it showed up there as well.
Following the steps in the video "Low cost door sensor in Domoticz Rflink setup" I ended up with a nice working door sensor in Domoticz.
I guess this sensor could be added to the list of supported sensors.
Thanks again!
