downgrade domoticz

Post by ropske »

Hi, is it actually possible to install an older version of domoticz?

I have now beta V3.9052 but i want to go back to an older version, because my personal website is not working anymore because of :
Het script van http://192.168.1.175:8080/json.htm?type ... 2008312934 is geblokkeerd vanwege een niet-overeenkomend MIM-type
SEC7112: Het script van http://192.168.1.175:8080/json.htm?type ... 2008312940 is geblokkeerd vanwege een niet-overeenkomend MIME-type

Everything was working fine before this update, and i see on this forum more people are having the same problem, with: Dashticz, MyFrontpage,...

Sure you can downgrade but you need to have a copy of the install-zip in question as the Domo website only provides the latest beta for download (there’s no archive)

Tip: Every time I do a sudo ./updatebeta I also go to the website and download the Linux install zipset to a backup directory, adding the version number to the name manually. That way, if I determine that updating was a bad idea, I just manually install an old beta I knew was good.

You should install a backup script to make a complete backup of your domoticz folder and keep versions of it. That way you can very easily rollback to any day you'd like. For example: http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic ... nc#p109996

Damned, there is a backup script running with rsync every week, but it doesn't copy it into different directory's like yours.
It overwrites it everytime, normally after 1 week i should noticed it; but now i didn't :(

Will do it like you way, copy it in versions; so in different directory's, thanks mate

Maybe you can help me then with an 'older' beta version in case you still have some older versions?
I don't know how many versions there are after 83.xx
can you send me one from 83.xx ? [email protected]

Thank you.

Sure, but I always download the Linux Beta variant (I'm on Ubuntu on an Intel NUC). Is that OK for you or do you need Raspbian for a pi ?
