Option to keep sensor data for x number of years

Post by ben53252642 »

I would really like to see an option to keep sensor data for x number of years.

At the moment my understanding is that data is only kept for 1 year in the database.

I'd really like to store things like my weight, sleep data and average living room noise level for longer than this. 8-)

Push it to a MySQL database and you can keep whatever you want.

Yep, this is what I am currently working on right now... :D

Still it would be nice to have the option in Domoticz, I'd go another step and say it would be great for Domoticz DB to work from MySQL but I don't think its happening anytime soon. :(

influx and grafana is also a popular combination to store and graph stuff over longer time with a bit better resolution and such.
