KERUI P829 Motion sensor

Post by iLLiac4 »

Just tested Kerui P829 motion sensor.
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/KERUI-P ... 26404.html

Some additional photos:

It works with domoticz. It reports also with X10 and lightning4 enabled.
It sends two statuses: one Motion and if you remove the battery cover it sends Alarm + Tamper.

This is the log from manager:

Would you recommend these? I had these before https://www.intellihome.be/nl/x10-ms13- ... eugen.html but they are out of stock.

I have bought the same sensor but cannot detect the sensor with Domoticz
- X10 is enabled
- device detection is enabled
- Sensor is on and blinking
- latest 1022 firmware used for RFXcom
- latest 3.8153 Domoticz used

Please can you tell me how you add the sensor to Domoticz? Doing something special?

Problem is solved!
1. Use only the protocols you need. Don't enable all :-(
2. Use the latest EXT2 firmware.

After that the sensor is detected as X10 security and can be used in Domoticz.

Question, can you tell which protocols you have selected?

With Lighting4 + X10 enabled the Kerui sensors will be decoded as X10 security sensors in Ext2 firmware.
See also chapter 2.2.2 in the RFXtrx User Guide.
