Cheap RGB controller

Post by Jappie »

I found a lot of topics about these kind of controllers, but I bought

 http://s.aliexpress.com/riyQFVJZ

And the remote is seen bij rflink(r45), I added all the buttons and can usse them in events, that is all working, but the controller does not react on the RFlink when trying to controller the led strip via Domoticz. So when using the button on the remote, Domoticz is telling me the buton is pressed and the controller reacts. When pressing the button on Domoticz, the controller is not reacting.

Remote is detected as Llight/Switch with subtype EV1527 and it is a always on type remote.

Any idea how to fix this?

Not really, because I want to have a remote for direct control. Adding it to Domoticz is a bonus, but I cannot get it to work because the controller does not understand the RF-link commands. Probably the RF-Link is using the wrong protocol for sending the messages.

You can use this controller with the app and with domoticz @ the same time..

I asked a question about how to be able to use this device with Domoticz. Pointing out another option is okay, repeating without reading a previous answer is annoying.

Maybe he did, i don't think you understand... if you add the device to domoticz you can control it with any other 433mhz remote if you set it up right.

But i recommend you look at the other suggested option also, because the cheap rgb dimmer you pointed out are all using the same code... so if you have more of them, you can't controll them seperatly.
