NEO Coolcam Door/Window Sensor
Hi
I have received my 2 door/windows sensors ZWave Plus from Neo Coolcam.
I can include them with the ZWave USB Stick but in nodes for both, I have:
ID: 0x0000
Type: 0x0000
Enable Polling: No
Status: Sleep
But in the devices list, I cannot see them.
Is there something else to do to enable them ?

Did you include them using a z-stick, key unplugged & using it's own pairing button (just as it's documentation recommends)?Pierryck wrote:Hi

If so, unpair in the same manner & pair again, but this time from z-wave control panel, z-stick plugged.
Several neo users have reported pairing issues leading to IDs at 0 in the "cheap z-wave chinese products" thread when using the z-stick prefered method (key unplugged).
I myself runned into this problem using neo PIR.

Thx Lost, it was my case. I kept the z-stick plugged and they are correctly recognized.
For info, the Neo Wall Plug have been recognized with the key unplugged.

Re: NEO Coolcam Door/Window Sensor
I have the same door-sensor. Works fine, except that every time the door opens I not only the the sensor device (xx00) and "access control" device (xx34) get triggered, but also device xx32 Alarm Level and device xx33 Alarm Type are triggered.
The Alarm Type/Level devices however, generate an "Alarm Level Secure" in the Domoticz log on each door event. How can this be prevented?

I have the same door sensor and that is working fine.
Did you try to heal the node, + sign at the right. When you try to heal then activate the sensor.
Did you go to the OpenZwave Control Panel? What is show there?
Mine is visible with zwave ID 0x1082 and Type 0003.

Re: NEO Coolcam Door/Window Sensor
Hi,
The sensor works fine, so I don't think it is not included properly.
It's just that it is sending xx32 Alarm Level and xx33 Alarm Type messages as well at each state change.
I have removed these devices from the hardware list, so they are now ignored and no more messages in the log.
Mine is also visible with ID 0x1082 and Type 0003.

Re: NEO Coolcam Door/Window Sensor
Looking low power zwave devices is not possible as they go in sleep shortly after sending their state and only wake up after a set interval. Reducing the interval drains batteries.

Re: NEO Coolcam Door/Window Sensor
Here I have Neo Coolcam door window sensors as well.. Also in sleep but they ALWAYS send to wave controller when door is open of closed.
I also see this in Domoticz that the sensor is open or close... Even when they are in sleep
So something is not correct in your config

Re: NEO Coolcam Door/Window Sensor
Hi Everyone,
I recently bought one and included via Domoticz include instead of manual z-stick include (i have Aeotec Z-Stick Gen5). It shows in the devices and as a node but just like some of you wrote it sends status only for few minutes after include and than falls asleep and doesn't send anything. Did someone got to the bottom of this?
BTW i have neo coolcam PIR sensor since a year and also does the same exact thing.

Hi Everyone,
Can someone point me to a right direction to set this up so that it works and shows the states all the time and not only for few minutes after inclusion?
