domoticz lost Z-wave ID and type after reinstall

My domoticz install running on an old raspberry pi crashed, I installed a new installation on a raspberry pi 2 and moved my aeon labs Z-wave+ stick to that one and restored the domoticz.db.

after that most of my z-wave devices have the correct name, but an ID and type of 0x0000
the configuration of the devices are not visible.

out of about 30 devices only 2 have the correct ID´s, tried including a new Z-wave device and that works

I can see traffic from these devices in OZW log when running the controller in debug mode, but I cannot issue commands or include/exclude the devices.

but nothing is noted in the domoticz.log.

so it seems commands are getting through to OZW but not further
what could have gone wrong? where do I start fixing this?

this is real weird, but after half a day most devices are back and working even though I changed nothing.
it does not seem normal for a discovery to take like 4 hours, but it did.
