raspberry usb connection died with rfxcom

i have a big problem.
im using the starter set of sos-solutions (raspberry rfxcom and so on) for about a year now with no problems.
but when i came back from work i descovered that my system did not work anymore.

the rfxcom's red light is flashing continously.....but when connected to the rfxmngr on my laptop it works fine.
last night i saw in the log files some error with the usb.
in the hardware section in domoticz the rfxcom is still there but with no Seriële poort i can choose.the active box is not checked anymore but that does not change a thing.
all the wireless devices are gone in domoticz

so what i have tried is:
-connect rfxcom to laptop-->works fine
-replaced the software on the sd card of the raspberry with a backup i made-->same result
-tried a different power supply on the raspberry-->same result
-i googled how to check the raspberry's usb ports (with putty)and came up with this command : lsusb -t
this is the result:
/: Bus 01.Port 1: Dev 1, Class=root_hub, Driver=dwc_otg/1p, 480M
|__ Port 1: Dev 2, If 0, Class=hub, Driver=hub/5p, 480M
|__ Port 1: Dev 3, If 0, Class=vend., Driver=smsc95xx, 480M

according to the site this means there is nothing connected to the raspberry.....

can i solve this problem and how?????
and how can it die suddenly??

Sure you have a 2A or more Power Supply and a decent USB cable?
Over time cheap psu's tent to wear down giving all kinds of problems.

I ordered the complete set with Power supply.it would be strange that you Have to change them every year.i can test it with 3rd one.

update : S.O.S. solutions wants the raspberry send back to them so they can take a look.

They got the raspberry Today.i Will Keep you all posted.i buyed a new Power supply (Yes a good quality one of 2amps).but that Made no difference.when i hear from sos solutions i Will post it here.

well......little (useless) update.

got the raspberry back today but without any feedback.no mail or phonecall or letter with the package.so i thought it will be fixed

so i connected everything together and tadaaaaaaa!!!!!..........same problem.....

i send them an email to ask what they done and how we can fix it....again...

so i keep you posted....

yes!!!!

last time i got the pi back and they said the pi was tested and works fine , i tested the rfxcom and it works fine.
so it had to be the combination of the 2 so send the whole set back.

today:raspberry pi and rfxcom in my mailbox!!back from sos solutions.
put it all togheter and it seems to work fine again!

they put a sticker on the device that they mailed me the feedback but i did not received it.
maybe i filled in the wrong email adress.
i asked them to mail it to me again,so maybe tomorrow the feedback from the repair.

but when i connected everything i noticed that the mac-adres is different than my origional raspberry, so i think i got a new raspberry.
