Response Electronics PIR
Hi all
Has anyone successfully added a Response Electronics "Response Wireless Passive Infra Red PIR Motion Sensor 433MHz (SAP E)" to their Domoticz system ?
http://www.responseelectronics.com/burg ... sap-e-p359
Can it be added to be used as a PIR to switch on items?
Thanks in advanced
The Bod

Re: Response Electronics PIR
I don't know about those but these ones work: http://www.responseelectronics.com/burg ... z-sap-p562
Running Domoticz on Pi3 with RFXtrx433e. LWRF power sockets and dimmer switches. Integrated my existing wirefree alarm PIRs and door contacts with domoticz. Geofencing with Pilot. Harmony Hub. Tado for Heating. Now playing with mysensors.

Re: Response Electronics PIR
I have some of these working but they all transmit as the same device - how are other people using them. They don't seem to be unique?

Re: Response Electronics PIR
Mine are used as part of my existing alarm system so they are all set in different zones by using the dip switches. Set up like this mine all show different IDX in Domoticz.

Re: Response Electronics PIR
I have this one but I think it has now been discontinued. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Friedland-Respo ... op?ie=UTF8
Although Domoticz picks up signals from the PIRs, door contacts and the remote control, it can't replicate the signal to arm or disarm the actual alarm system which I was pleased about for obvious reasons.

Re: Response Electronics PIR
Anyone know if the PIRs in the original link are waterproof for external use aka mounted to outside of garage and back of house?

Re: Response Electronics PIR
The response ones are for an internal alarm system so I don't think they'd last long outside. I've had these PIRs working outside for quite a while now: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Security-Safe ... 2232667934
