Wondering what this new update might include
One seller on Aliexpress sells the '2017 edition' which is apparently completely the same as the 2016 V2 but it now has a new name.

Same thing but reversed some Time door is open, mi Home says open but Domoticz stay close.
Same as you. When it's happen I just close and reopen the browser.

For now I prefer using Homebridge directly and not passthrough Domoticz. I've just open an Issue on Github https://github.com/PatchworkBoy/homebri ... /issues/76

But in my opinion is that Domoticz doesn't push (or pull) the data when something trigger the sensor.

Not sure about your browser solution...This Windows sensors have to lightning on a bulb when it's night.

I can see the problème on the log...

Are there any logged messages corresponding with the incorrect sensor updates?

Same issue on my side. It uses to be the case 2 weeks ago with one beta release, and the issue was fixed with the next beta.
I am nnnow running with the 3.6745 and the doors are switch back to closed from domoticz when the status from xioami is open (and by the way the doors are physically open).

Here is the log :

2017-02-18 09:57:19.809 (Xioami) Light/Switch (Xiaomi_Velux_Nord) <----- I open the windows

2017-02-18 09:59:09.211 (Xioami) Light/Switch (Xiaomi Salon PIR)

What's look a bot strange is that I have 5 door sensors and I am seeing the issue on 4 of them and not on the last one that remains with the status open..

Onre more comment after some other tests.... it looks like when you open the windows, the sensor is automatically switch back to closed aftr 1 minute, but then (probably after en refresh from the xiaomi gateway) the status is back to open, et remain open till the windows is effectively closed.

Omg - what a stupid noob. Just checked and found out that for some reason developer mode for Xiaomy Gateway was turned off.

Update:

Dear Corbin - domoticz stopped working on my VM after few last updates (which was working fine all the time):

Code: Select all

Same problem as on main server - no token.

Hi, I am running into the same issue with invalid key. Hardware and devices are added fine and initial status seems to be set correctly. I do not get any updates or possibility to control the gateway from Domoticz.

I am currently using Domoticz Beta version: 3.6708 (Synologogy Ds216j).

Could it be that I'm not using Corbin's version? My Domoticz setup is rather delicate and I have no experience in manually compiling for my Synology from that fork.

Alternatively could it be I'm missing dependencies or something else?

Behaviour ha change with the 3.6752 release.
Now the dorr sensor are back closed after 1 minutes, but are no longer switching back to their real state then after. It is kept has closed when theis not the case.
Checking directly on the Xiaomi gateway application, the status is open

[UPDATE] For some of those, it turns back to the correct status after about 4 minutes.

Try my version at https://github.com/corbinmunce/domoticz and let me know if you are still getting the false readings?

It cannot be done through standard beta upload?
I need to create a sandbox since I don't want to disturb the rest of my system. I am gonna check if I an try your version.

If you can compile my version I can push changes out quickly to test, rather than waste Gizmocuz's time asking to merge each change into the beta.

Guys,
I'm new here and will try and learn all the stuff you write about. I see some people asking where to buy the kit cheap. I bought mine from http://www.geecr.com
However the kit I got was the Gift Wrapped pack and I managed to get it for about 60 USD about a month ago (this set comes with an additional zigbee plug and I also got two free adapters with it). I see the gift wrapped set now on aliexpress for 90USD. I don't see the gift wrapped set on Geecr.com anymore but they do have the normal set for 47USD. Anyway I hope this helps someone.

FYI I have along with the gateway the Xiaomi Cube, Xiaomi Switch, Xiaomi Door Sensor and Human Sensor. I also have a Xiaomi Yeelight Bedside Lamp.

In addition I have MiLight Hub (the new one with the light) and controllers. Three controllers are connected to RGB strips and a Milight Bulb is also connected to the Hub. I control all of these at the moment with the Milight app (version 3 I think).

I also have my Mi Band 2, Mi weighing scales, Mi wifi extender and Mi pot plant moisture reader and I control these with the Mi Home app.

I know that this may sound like an advert for Mi/Xiaomi but it is not - I'm just an ordinary joe soap who is getting into all this smart home stuff :)

I'm probably forgetting some of the other gadgets that I have but thought I'd just introduce myself.

Regards
