Any issues using the Xiaomi Gateway with Domoticz?
I have some issues using you're tutorial:
https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)
Adding the Xiaomi Gateway to Domoticz:
In above part, I choose the toggle switch to enable de LAN mode and write down the password. I then click OK in the right bottom area to save the changes. Which I see with an answer to be correct.

After those steps I fill in the new hardware and password in Domoticz and click add (update)
The log file says: XiaomiGateway: Worker started...
And I can see the new hardware in Domoticz.
After those steps nothing happens in Domoticz. No Xiaomi Gateway appears at the devices en no other devices (already connected to the gateway) do appear.

To check my password and settings in the app after that I surprisingly see a new password and no toggled LAN switch! It seems I cannot save the setting in the xiaomi app on my phone.

Do you have any ideas to correct this?

Happened to me as well once, make sure the Mi Smart saves the settings by closing the App and reopen..

Hi,

I'm running on 3.6616 on raspberry. Since the last update (beta), i lost the connection with two gateways V2 (with color band) (which worked since 1 week).
I see the two gateways in my router configuration with the adequate IP (in case of...), 2.40/ 2.165.
Of course, the Xiaomi systems works perfectly on the Xiaomi software and in local.

I see this error on the log :
2017-02-05 16:44:00.644 Error: XIAOMI-GAT1 hardware (9) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly
2017-02-05 16:44:00.644 Error: XIAOMI-GAT2 hardware (10) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly

I see all the sensors, with the last date of connection, one day ago, before the upgrade to the last version.

Any idea ? i've started a new install on a baytrail (because i prefer to use this computer instead of a raspberry for long term use...)

EDIT : I check the error, i suppress one gateway, and i reconfigure the first one and it works !
But i loose all the sensors of the second gateway... humrf ??? How i can access to the second gateway or bridge it ?

EDIT 2 : I remove the LAN support for the second gateway, only one works on 9898. But i can't see the other sensors linked to the previous one since the LAN connection of the second... is it volontary to reduce to only one gateway ? I don't understand because i see two RGB color band in the measurement units, but when i set on/off the rgb band, only one will turn on, which is the adequate gateway (with Lan activation).

Ok I finally got it working:

Trick was to re-install the android app to get the password set and saved for Domoticz.
Domoticz immediately found the Xiaomi Gateway
2017-02-05 21:17:11.043 XiaomiGateway: Worker started...
2017-02-05 21:17:11.047 XiaomiGateway: RGB Gateway Detected
and I was able to bind the detected hardware to a Domoticz light switch.

Now I wait for Domoticz to detect my connected temperature gauges. I hope they will eventually appear.

Only a single gateway is supported in Domoticz. In older Beta versions I would have expected it to stop working as you are currently seeing with each thread crashing. But with the current Beta, it should not be starting at all and instead displaying "XiaomiGateway: Only one Xiaomi Gateway is supported, please remove any duplicates from Hardware"

I don't have 2 gateways so haven't observed how it would work. Can you put everything on one gateway?

No i can't due to the surface of my house and of course number of sensors (near 40 !).
I don't remember exactly but there is a limitation of max sensor / gateway.

Did you hit the sensor limit? I'd like to know what it is, have 17 so far with a few more to go yet. Also do you have the power plugs as they are supposed to be range extenders?

Well if someone programs it, yes there is no reason why there can't be 2 or more. I have no desire to program it myself.

Hello.
No. To do this, we must be able to decrypt the packets.

I try to remove all my sensors from the second gateway to add on the first one, but I cannot add more than 31...

I got your solution !

Add a second domoticz+rpi/syno or anything else for the 2nd gateway and use the domoticz slave system to add the 2nd gateway hardware to your main
