Trying to read through all the messages, I couldn't find which plugs report power usage and whether domoticz reports it. Appreciate your feedback on this.

Domoticz V3.8153
One interesting thing that battery for Temp is 100, Temp+Humidity is 89. Which is real and why is there two different value?

- Domoticz.jpg (272.73 KiB) Viewed 3398 times
I grouped devices together. It's very hard to pair for example Voltage with it's corresponding device. The ID is different. Also pressure is indicated as separate device, but there is now a Temp+Hum+Baro device in Domoticz.
How often are temperature devices updated? It is not possible to set a 5 minute interval?

It is not possible to use sea-level pressure? All meteorologists, weather station usually using sea level pressure and not the raw pressure.

DIM the white LED to any level of the Xiaomi Gateway is that possible? Any other colour I am able to DIM to the level I want, except White.
Hi, I am having the same issue.
Anyone was able to solve this?
I am using my Gateway with motion sensors as nightlight and I realy need to change the DIM level to custom values.
The original Mi Home is able to change level of white light and even can do fluent light up. I mean it seamlessly increases the brightness level to desired value in short time period and thats really cool effect. I have tryed to do that in domoticz python script but domoticz cannot change the brightness as fluently as the gateway itself.

However with tha adapter price tag of around 10 euro's .... the Neo Cool Smartplug Can compete with it as well priced at € 16- €20 euro's
At least it will plug the Gateway much nicer against the wall I think.
Last year found these, ive installed 6 of them and working since Jan. Very flat and way cheaper (with shipping around $2 a piece)

Nice fit
Many thanks for the tip.

Ha cewl. Did not even notice the gateway has a lux meter. I thought it was the motion sensor that has one. Probably it is the other way around indeed.

With some light on, in dark it's around 300. But where is this value coming from?

It is not possible to ask temperature from sensors at every xx minutes? At this moment it's updating only, when there is a significant change in the temperature.

Version: Beta 3.8755
Platform: Raspberry Pi 2 / Ubuntu Mate 16.04.2
Hardware: Xiaomi Gateway/Sensors
Hello,
Any idea why domoticz does not update xiaomi sensor status? It updates slowly/randomly (door contact, infra), not responsive at all. In Xiaomi's MiHome every sensor updates almost immediately.
The only way i can update sensor status is by restarting domoticz server or by clicking on 'Update' at Setup/Hardware.
I cleared cache on client's browser, connected domoticz server to the same subnet on wifi and added the iptable rules, also checked connection to the xiaomi gateway by long pinging it from domoticz (2-10ms replies). Error log is empty. What else can be the problem? Thank you.

About the battery statuses not updating anymore: Corbin told me it's not on purpose and he will probably have a look at it this weekend. Hope this will be fixed real soon

Why is that sometimes domoticz just stops reading the motion sensor status? Its updating On-Off-On-Off-On-Off... (when testing, i wait 2 minutes every time for the switch to go off before initiate movement again) then it stops updating and then after some time hell known why its working again all of a sudden.
Also, the off delay for the motion sensor 'switch' is set to 0 ('use sensor time' - that is 1 minute for aqara ms) yet the motion sensor switch set itself off after 2minutes. Why is it 2minutes against the device default 1 minute?
What is the method domoticz using for reading the status from the gateway? Polling with UDP datagramms? Can the problem be network related?
Gonna check it with wshark soon. Any idea?
Gateway and sensor should be ok as using miHome app the status is updating correctly.

Hmm it seems the multicasted status updates coming from the gateway are much more bulky and not that reliable compared to the updates intended to the xiaomi servers outside. Its sad. At least it turned out that delayed or dropped status updating and other anomalies are not the fault of domoticz and your plugin but the loose handling of multicast status updates by the gateway.
Other possibilities are:
- somehow the router misses some of the multicasted datagramms /packet loss
- linux kernel's firewall on pi dropping datagramms (unlikely)
- domoticz's interface dropped out from the multicast group on the wifi router
*EDIT
Made full reinstall from ubuntu mate 16.04 to raspbian. Now everything looks alright, getting all multicast messages. Not sure what was the problem or it will come up again.

Corbin directed me in the right direction: the battery statuses have changed a while ago. When you add a User Variable with the name 'XiaomiVoltage' (integer / 0), and restart the Xiaomi hardware, the statuses re-appear

Thanks, Corbin !
Edit:
Now I'd like to use the right names for the battery statuses, how can I see which device it belongs to? I can partially combine by using the battery status (for instance: 795 is unique, and could be the "Garagedeur (X)"), but there are more than 1 with 83%, so: how ??

Maybe add this to the Xiaomi gateway wiki page?
I was also struggling with this.
And with restart Xiaomi hardware, he means not the gateway itself but disable/enable Xiaomi hardware in Domoticz
