Tried the app again after restarting the Pi *just incase*.
Same thing happened... changed the colour of a light in the living room and even though it responded straight away this time - it carried on switching between red and white light until I force closed the app.
Weird =/

I can add an NFC tag, I can associate Domoticz app with a switch, the phone recognizes the tag, but no visible action...
The phone just says "New tag collected"...
Update 1: If I write "nl.hnogames.domoticz.premium", I can start the app automatically. Still no action besides that...

My Android is 6.0.1. Maybe related with it?
Has anyone got the NFC feature to work on Android 6? (I have a stock S7)
Both suggestions in this thread do not work:
1. Writing "http://www.domoticz.com/app" to the tag does not work, opens a 404 blank webpage and the app does not pick it up as suggested
2. Writing "nl.hnogames.domoticz.premium" to the tag will open the app but no further action. Tag is registered in domoticz settings, enabled and associated with a switch.

Hi, Sorry if it was not clear on how to configure NFC tags. I've now made a wiki page on github to describe the NFC setup:fergalom wrote: Has anyone got the NFC feature to work on Android 6? (I have a stock S7)
https://github.com/domoticz/domoticz-an ... /NFC-Setup
NOTE.. you need to write the NFC with type URL, not text

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Thanks but had tried both text and url types before.
Installed the NFC app you used to write to the tag, same result
Still opens a webpage and Error 404 - Domoticz app does not pick it up and toggle the switch.
My tag is a standard NXP Mifare Ultralight

I think you've probably selected Chrome as the default app to open URL NFC tagsfergalom wrote:Thanks but had tried both text and url types before.

Don't think so but did Settings>Apps->Chrome->Clear Defaults and same result.
If I look at Settings>Apps->Domoticz - App links->Supported URLs and Supported Web addresses is blank?
It won't let me edit them however.

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
What happened with the tablet support for Nexus 7 (2012)? It was on there a few months ago but I recently had to wipe this tablet to factory settings. Now Google Play is saying I cannot install this application as it is not compatible with my device. I have tried to install both the full version (and beta) and the light version to no avail.

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
Sorry if this has been asked before.
Would be great if the app could be used to access Domoticz via the MyDomoticz proxy. Any chance for that in the future?
Thanks!

After using the Lite version for a while, I purchased the Premium version yesterday and I love the voice recognition feature. I don't know if this has been asked before, but are there plans to support voice controlled scene's?
Re: Domoticz app 2.0
I have the same problem/question. I can see the Lite version , but with the note 'Je apparaat is niet compatibel met deze versie'.wergeld wrote:What happened with the tablet support for Nexus 7 (2012)?
I run Android 4.4.4 on this Nexus 7 because Lolipop makes the tablet very slow. However, on my HTC Desire 610 that runs Android 4.4.2 Domoticz Lite and Premium works fine. What is the problem here? Would it run if I upgrade the tablet to Lolipop?

No clue at this moment why Nexus 7 is not shown as compatibleSweetPants wrote:I have the same problem/question. I can see the Lite version , but with the note 'Je apparaat is niet compatibel met deze versie'.wergeld wrote:What happened with the tablet support for Nexus 7 (2012)?

If anyone likes to assist on this... you can check the manifest on github ..

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
I don't think that upgrade to lollipop will make a difference. Mine is running 5.1.1 and i get the same message from google play store.SweetPants wrote:I have the same problem/question. But it's good to see that i'm not the only one facing this issue with Nexus 7, so it looks that it's not me doing something wrong...
Hope that there will be a solution soon.

Re: Domoticz app 2.0
I was able to get the source code from Github build to an .apk using Android Studio, and guess what, I can install the Lite version on the Nexus 7 (2012) tablet using the manifest in the source code. When installing Lite version from Play Store, same problem 'Je apparaat is niet compatible met deze versie'. When i try to build the Paid version, i get a (paid) .apk, get it installed, but it starts in Lite mode and I can't upgrade (same error)SweetPants wrote:What am I looking for?
