Hi,
Does anybody know if the Avidsen doorbell will work on RFXCOM?
It uses the 433mhz channel.

This device is not in the supported list, see chapter 2 of the RFXtrx User Guide.
However, you can try with RFXmngr and enable only Lighting4 or with an RFXtrx433E try also with only ByronSX enabled.

I suppose the message cannot be used because a RF packet with all zeroes is received.

My thoughts exactly. However, a PT2262 device was suddenly in my unused devices list, around 300 times...
