Instance removed - how to restore?
Hi,
user have removed the Domoticz instance from MyDomoticz (deleted) - how can I restore it?
After login I see all the time "Enter your api data to your own Domoticz in order to use this service" - but the shown API key and password is still enabled in Domoticz.
Already tried:
- change password (at account and Domoticz settings)
- enable / disable multiple times at Domoticz
Maybe I need new API key - but how to get it for same account?
Thanks for any idea!

Re: RE: Re: Testers wanted!
It's not really an error. It's more like a matter of excessive debug information.mirasp wrote: It's working now but from time to time I see some errors in logs:

Weird... You should get a new instance id when your Domoticz connects again.micha_pr wrote:Hi,

What's your old instance id?

Re: Testers wanted!
Hi,
just tried - no changes.
instance ID: D086A79535E2A63
Maybe in such a case would be better to generate new API key, don't know of course...
Thanks

Re: Testers wanted!
It looks like my Domoticz (running on pi) has problems staying online if fiber modem resets (resetting the router doesn't affect stability/service).
I guess that when modem resets, I get some other IP address. Is there some workaround to this? Can I somehow reset domoticz if my external IP changes?
I guess some script could be written on pi that will monitor external IP, and then reset domoticz (or entire pi?) when external IP changes? Anyone that has already done this?

Hi,
Is it possible to call my.domoticz.com api with ifttt ?
With authentication submit parameter ?
I had created another post for that.
Thanks

Re: Testers wanted!
I Have the same error in the log:
I'm sure that password and API key are correct.
In my opinion mydomoticz has a problem with unique Instance ID. When I have tried to change I have connected once as a shared user (??) (there was a hand below user icon in mydomoticz) and user name was completely different than my (it was MaciekK). But a system was offline (red user icon)...
MyDomoticz has a problem with uniqueness of Instance ID and security (in my opinion).
Is it possible to erase Instance ID from my domoticz?
Code: Select all
PROXY: Authenticate result: wrong password for apikey/instanceid combination.
In my opinion mydomoticz has a problem with unique Instance ID. When I have tried to change
Code: Select all
Enabled Shared, Domoticz Allowed, Apps Allowed

If you click on the Instance ( the name of it, not the green/red icon) you will find a option to "Remove instance"arcos wrote:I Have the same error in the log:I'm sure that password and API key are correct.Code: Select all

Re: Testers wanted!
I can't see Instance ID in MyDomoticz because by local domoticz is not registered in MyDomoticz (because of password / API key).
In MyDomoticz I have only option to see my API key and password / name change.
In MyDomoticz Dashboard instead of User icon I see only "Enter your api data to your own Domoticz in order to use this service".

So your "MyDomoticz Instance ID:" on your local Domoticz is blank ?
You have tried to remove the API, password and then disable and enable the service?
In https://my.domoticz.com/mydomoticz/settings
You see your API Key right?
You know your password you have set right?
Have you set a Website Protection(localy)username and password?
It's used as Auto login.

Re: Testers wanted!
I have tried to do everything (change the password, remove the password, recover password on mydomoticz, remove api key on local domoticz) - still the same error in log "PROXY: Authenticate result: wrong password for apikey/instanceid combination.":
My Instance ID on local domoticz is NOT empty and that is why I think that it's not unique and somebody else has the same ID.
I have to say that when I have created mydomoticz account everything was fine on the beginning. After while mydomoticz shows that domoticz is offline. After that I have deleted domoticz from mydomoticz service and created again - I have still this error.

We're currently looking at the option to support ifttt. We don't know a target date yet.Syssy wrote:Hi,

At this moment, this is not possible. But it is not difficult to make, if it helps you.Syssy wrote:Great !chimit wrote:We're currently looking at the option to support ifttt. We don't know a target date yet.Syssy wrote:Hi,

I have the same problem as arcos is describing here.chimit wrote:Could you PM me your API key?arcos wrote:I have tried to do everything (change the password, remove the password, recover password on mydomoticz, remove api key on local domoticz) - still the same error in log "PROXY: Authenticate result: wrong password for apikey/instanceid combination.":

Is there a solution for this?. Maybe its time to add a button to generate a new instance id in the domoticz web gui?
