Hi,
Recently I've bought a raspberry pi with the aeon gen5 stick and a RFXtrx433.
Main reason is to play around with the capabilities before we move into a new house.
I added the promax kaku switches from the action by using the workaround I found on this forum and
it works like a charm.
Then I added a FGSD-002 which was detected automatically.
Then I added a FGMS-001 which was detected as an unknown device. I found a workaround here by copying
another line in the manufacturer_specific.xml and adjusting the product type value.
However now I find myself with a bunch of 'unknown' named devices in the device list and I'm wondering how this
should be populated. I do find all the device names in a few posts, but should this have been filled in by domoticz
automatically? or is there a place with a list of ID's available ?

Re: Which unknown device is what?
I have the same problem. In my device list are a lot of devices with various ID and Unit.
No idea where these Id and unit comes from.
Makes it difficult to find a new device because a device can have more id's and unit's in the device list.
So who can inform me:
how to obtain the real ID / unit code is of a kaku device is
how to prevent rfxcom to detect the same devices with another id.
how to change devices with the same ID and a different unit number

With Kaku you will allways see unknown devices because your RFXcom will pickup devices from neighbours etc. Uncheck "Accept new Hardware Devices" in Settings and "Allow for 5 minutes" when adding devices.
