Qubino Flush Shutter DC ZMNHOD1

Post by Kohen »

Dear readers,

I've trying to include the Qubino Flush Shutter DC ZMNHOD1 but when I it is recognized as:
Qubino Unknown: type=0003, id=0053

There it is... Unknown. Don't get the specs or settings, can't use it right now.
Someone knows the answer?

Your device is not in the OpenZwave list.

So you need to write your own config file or maybe you can ask qubino to to so.
They recently created many config files for OpenZwave.

Check the http://www.openzwave.com/ website for more info.

You could try adding this line to Config/manufacturer_specific.xml:

Code: Select all

<Product type="0003" id="0053" name="ZMNHODx Flush Shutter" config="qubino/ZMNHCDx.xml"/>
That line links the type/id to the config file of another flush shutter of Qubino. Could be that it works instantly with that (after exclude/include off course).

I've actually created a pull request to support this device: https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave/pull/898

Having that said, Egregius his solution is 99% correct, it just lacks one tiny feature (parameter 86) which you probably won't miss.
