Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
Hello,
I already have search on the internet for include my stella z thermostate unit to include in my z-wave network
I use a raspberry pi with zwave module on it.
I use the newest image off domoticz, no update required.
Fibaro relay en motion sensor i can add an control it but stella will not recognize.
Does somebody can help me to fix this problem
Also i have a problem with fibaro smoke sensor that it will not be active true the switches

Re: Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
As an ex-stellaz user, I can say it is simple
1) exclude the stellaz
2) include the stellaz
3) exclude again as it didn't include properly
4) Keep repeating steps 1 to 3
Eventually it will include, it may sleep and never wake, it may eat batteries... I gave up on them in the end.

Re: Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
Except for the batteries that remain only about 2 or 3 months, I never had any problem with the one stella z I use.

Re: Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
Try putting Domoticz into Setup->Hardware->OpenZwave Setup button->Node management->Include node
Then hold the StellaZ button down for a moment until the steady green light shows.
See if the Include node dialogue shows the StellaZ.
If not, and still in Domoticz include mode, hold the button down for at least 15 seconds, ignoring any red or green lights.
That's how I got mine to include, the first time I tried.

Not sure if the accept new hardware setting in Domoticz must be set on.

Re: Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
Try also to exclude first... maybe the module was tested
Also had a problem including this module, but it worked in the end.
First Domoticz in include mode, and then setting the stellaz in include mode
(Accept new hardware is done automatically)

Re: Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
As I said in my post and Gizmocuz too, EXCLUSION 1st is the most critical step. I do it by habit now with ALL z-wave products. All of which work very nicely for me with the exception of the StellaZ.
I now use the EQ3 Max! system for heating control (rads and stats) with a fibaro dual relay controlling heating and hot water. There is only limited support for EQ3 Max! in Domoticz but it works very well as a stand alone system.

Re: Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
I got 1 add to my system.
But i have 3 other stella witch i like to add.
But when i add them them same way i did with the first nothing is happening.
On stella the green led is on for 2 sec means it's enter zwave network.
With openremote i can exclude all device by hit 1 time on button.
1 i have include the same, but other seems not regornice

Re: Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
The green led for 2 secs just means that the StellaZ is awake.

Re: Eurotronics Stella Z will not include
I use 1 stellaz and it basically works without problems. I use a lua script to open and close the valve depending on the temperature. I included it from within Domoticz.
