flat-blue - new metro look theme

Hey,

I've got tired of the boring "dark" UI and so I've spent some time creating a simple flat design for Domoticz.

It's not perfect and there's plenty of space for improvements but case anyone is interested: https://github.com/jonferreira/domoticz-flat-blue-theme

This isn't working for me. I copied the folder into domoticz/www/styles, and renamed it flat-blue. In Setup>Settings, flat-blue appears as a Theme, but selecting it doesn't change the UI. I've refreshed the browser cache and restarted Domoticz, to no avail.

Any clues?

sounds like cache issues to me, I always have the same problem when changing themes.
if you're using Firefox you'll need to delete the offline web content (tools - options - advanced) and clear firefox cache half a dozen times

In Domoticz there is a option to load custom icons....
I should be nice that this option works with the different themes...

you can use "custom icons" with "custom themes"...that's what I'm doing right now

Very nice theme!
Just 1 issue, on my iPad the texts are placed over the icons.

I've jut noticed the same thing is happening to me, guess there must be some other CSS for mobile version...I'll try to take a loom and find it ASAP

Did some improvements today but still haven't figured out why that's happening in iOS Safari, seems to be ignoring padding-top for some reason

Any news up here?
I would like to use this skin for myself, too. Because it is not that dark as the others but looks more clean and fresh to me.

Unfortunately it still looks weitd on my iPad. Would be great if this could get fixed.
I am no programmer or css expert so i am sorry i cannot help here.

I wasn't able to track down the problem or why Safari seems to be ignoring some CSS
I'll probably need help from a "proper designer"

Very nice icon for tabs. Did you plan add this theme to official Domoticz to be in image and will be update with update Domoticz ? Maybe think about it...

But icon for tabs should be use in official theme in Domoticz. Looks very nice and are very light.

hmm that should be fixed on latest release, looks ok to me!
only thing pending - that I know of - is related to padding on mobile (iPad safari) view
