TriState Switch

Post by pkriek »

Hi

I have a switch detected thru the RFLINK gateway.

With the remote of the switch, I press 1 time to switch it on, 1 time to turn it Off.

thru Domoticz, only the "turn on" seems to activate the device. meaning have to press twice in Domoticz to switch (Turn Off is doing nothing to the switch.

How can I solve this?

Thanks

Buy a better switch !
Serious.. as nobody knows the actual state of the switch, it is of no use.
Image you are placing your sprinkler system behind this, and make a timer like
10:00am -> On
12:00am -> Off

So actually 12:00am should be -> On (because second ON turns it off)

Now image if the switch was in a wrong state, this will now turn off your sprinkler at 10:00am and on 12:00am On, meaning 22 hours a day it is on

Its probably a china device ! .... home automation is not cheap, just invest in a good 433Mhz switch, you have them from 6 euro+

Well here (in holland) the Klik aan klik uit (kaku) switches are good, outside holland it is called coco
but any switch that is supported and have a separate on/off and if needed a set level, is OK

hello i have same problem anyone have solution for this?
switch on works but when i want switch off i have click again (light is off now) ,but then switch in domoticz is on
i have latest rflink version
2017-01-14 22:25:16.083 RFLink Sending: 10;TriState;069498;1;ON
2017-01-14 22:25:20.022 RFLink Sending: 10;TriState;069498;1;OFF

edit: find that switch can be switched to two buttons mode (one for on and one for off)
when i switched
reflink read this
SWITCH ON
20;88;EV1527;ID=0d7c74;SWITCH=08;CMD=ON;
SWITCH OFF
20;89;EV1527;ID=0d7c74;SWITCH=02;CMD=ON;
but domoticz cant add this in autodetect mode...
