No, there is a new sensor zwave plus: FGMS-001 ZW5. I've seen it in same domotics shop (google FGMS-001 Z-W5 and you'll find them)
And it appears in zwavealliance

Hello,

I am new user of domoticz, I just installed it last week-end on Raspberry PI 3.
I use a SIGMA DESIGNS Dongle Z-Wave Plus USB, and try to use the new Fibaro Motion Sensor FGMS-001 ZW5. It is the only device I have, wanted to test one before buying more devices.
The device is not recognized correctly, and I can't change parameters (only 1 displayed).

I think that the device is not yet supported by domoticz, or maybe I miss install of device (I am newbie in domotic).
Is there a way for me to make it works (change of configuration file ?) ?
Or is there anything I can provide to help team for support of the device by domoticz ?
Is there a way to change parameters of device ( by OpenZWave Control Panel maybe ? ) ?

Hello
Devices using batteries are sleeping most of the tme. You must wait for a time when they awake Domoticz read and set config parameters. Fibaro take 7200 seconds (2 hours) to wake up. After that Domoticz will show parameters.
You can forcé awake with inclusión button of sensor (press three times).

I will this help you.

You need to add the device ID to an XML file to make it work. After that restart domoticz, exclude the device and include again. See this topic: http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3814

So basically it is the same config xml file as the previous version and you only need to add the ID in the specific manufacturer file ? (Sorry for the noob question i'm 200% newbie)

Can someone confirm that using FGMS-001 Z5 V3.2 the temperature is correctly read? In the official compatibility list it is reported that using v3.2 sensor the temperature reading doesn't work...

Thank you for your experience.

I answer to myself, maybe someone may appreciate this feedback... with Domoticz Rel. 3.5877 the FGMS-001 GEN5 the temperature is properly returned (sometimes the temperature device doesn't appear at the include time but one/two days after), unfortunately two other issues are present:
- tamper status is returned on the same device referred to motion sensor (device 000xx00 or 000xx35, depending of nodes fw version), the device 000xx28 that reports the tamper (vibration) status on FGMS-001 Gen3 never changes on Gen5 devices
- It is NOT possible to update parameters #42, #64 and #66 (related to lux and temperature report and offset) on three different Fibaro FGMS001 sensors (this issue also on Gen3 motion sensor)

Last UPDATE: using the attached configuration file that I've preparred to manage properly the Gen5 version of FGMS-001, the tamper status is properly reported throught the device 000xx35.
Node 1 (your ZWave or ZWave+ controller) needs to be added to the group 1, 2 and 5 in order to have all the values properly sent to Domoticz.

i'm having the same problem but with my Wall plug FGWPE-102 ZW5
i think i will also need to make a seperate xml file.

How did you know the tamper is on 0x28 and motion on 0x35? is this somewhere discribed?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Tamagnun,
Thanks for the details and the xml file.

Currently I have included the controller to Group 1, Group 4, Group 5 of Fibaro Motion (v3.2)

After including your above suggestions, in my case :
- motion is not detected till I add the controller to Group 4.
- Motion is not detected in Group 2.
- Group 4 (is for backward compatibility for Motion) and Group 5 (backward compatibility for Tamper)

But my controller is Aeon Zstick Gen5 USB controller - which is zwave plus version - so, it should have responded to motion on Group 2? which controller are you using?

Now coming to motion detection that is happening on Group 4, on every motion detection, I also see Alarm Level, Alarm Type, and Burglar. Any comments?

Details of my installation:
Domoticz version: 2.3266
OpenZwave version: 1.3492
Fibaro Motion: v3.2
controller: aeon zstick gen5 usb

thanks.
