Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
It should not work like this.
Maybe better to use totally different ID's, for example:
ID 01 22 11 unit code 1
ID 01 22 22 unit code 1
ID 01 22 33 unit code 1
You can also use the same ID and different unit codes for each motor. for example:
ID 01 22 11 unit code 1
ID 01 22 11 unit code 2
ID 01 22 11 unit code 3
ID 01 22 11 unit code 4
This makes it possible to use the ALL command and control all motors with only one command.
Or add the same ID/unit code in all motors you want to control with one command and add in addition an individual ID/unit code in each motor so that you can control each individual motor.

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Solved! I removed every unit from Domoticz and reprogrammed every single one of them while pulling electricity from all other motors.
Settings:
Rolling shutters (Somfy Telis 4 RTS):
ID 01 00 01 - Unit code 1
ID 01 00 02 - Unit code 1
Canopy (Somfy Smoove Origin RTS):
ID 02 00 01 - Unit code 2
I do not completely understand how ID and Unit code influence my control and possible options yet... But at least it all works as expected now!

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
All RTS blinds are working (5 of them) but with 1 of the domoticz controls i get 2 of them going close or open. Any idea how to remove one of the blinds from one switch?

1 Connect power to one motor from which you want to delete the remote. (disconnect all other motors)
2 Press the Prog button on the backside of the original Somfy remote to put the motor in learning mode.
3 In RFXmngr transmit a Program command (in Domoticz the TEST command) using the ID/Unitcode to be removed from the motor.

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Thank you I simply removed the blind in domoticz and re-add (synced it) with a new unique id

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Last week i blew up my Somfy 8027rc (yes very old) and i ordered a new receiver and remote.
I just succesfully connected it to Domoticz too.
It was very easy and i am happy with it.

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Would it be possible to let Domoticz learn the Somfy Smoove Origin RTS remote as a switch to control a roller blind which is not from Somfy?

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Receive is not implemented in the RFXtrx433E for several reasons.
1. For security. Without the receive option your neighbor or a burglar cannot use the RFXtrx433E to open your gate or blinds.
2. To use the Somfy remote code is not so clever because the remote will become out of sync with the motor if several command are transmitted with the RFXtrx433E.
3. The RFXtrx433E transmits Somfy RTS at 433.42MHz. Continuous receive at 433.42MHz will stop receiving of all other sensors on the normal frequency 433.92Mhz

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Thanks again Bert! That also rules out this idea I had. I contacted you by mail a while ago (via rfxcom.com about the JUNG A44F remote). Slowly starting to understand the system now. Think I will just have to buy Somfy motors then, the ones I have now are so unknown that Google does not even find them (Confexx CNF24-2435).

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Two quick questions:
1. Does the RFXtrx433E support percentage of open or close? Can I make it open like 50%? (e.g like with the "MY" button)
2. Does the RFXtrx433E support tilt (my awning have controls for "up" "down" and tilt)

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
There is no command to open for a percentage. The only way is to use a timer and transmit a STOP/MY command.
The RFXtrx433E supports Venetian blinds in EU or US mode. See the RFY tab in RFXmngr.

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Hi,
We ordered a new rolldown shutters with a Somfy Oximo RTS motor.
We use Domoticz/RFXcom433e with Ext firmware.
Is there any news on this combination since February? (The last post from Bert)

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Firmware version 1002 contains an improvement to be able to transmit a large number of RFY commands.
The standard Somfy RTS protocol does not support a percentage command.
The Oximo motor has an option for one middle position which can be set using the remote.
- set the screen to the required position,
- press the MY button for 1 second,
- press the MY button for 5 second, the motor makes a short move indicating the position is programmed.
To direct the screen to this position press the MY button (STOP command on the RFXtrx433E)

Hi Bert,
Thanks for the update.
Because the rolldown shutter is not yet delivered, I cannot see for myself:
Can this My/Stop command be set with a timer within Domoticz?

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Hello!
I'm really pleased about this great forum and all the help. Just reading helped me a lot to get Domoticz set up and almost replacing my Somfy Tahoma box (just the io-homecontrol stuff and the following keep it):
Are the Somfy wall-plugs (RTS) also supported by this? I tried adding one but it didn't get connected. The Centralis UNO RTS switches work flawlessly.
Thank you in advance!
P.S.: Here's a link to such a plug: https://www.somfy.de/file.cfm/einbindun ... tID=286765

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
As an update: the Somfy RTS wall plugs work as well. Before inclusion they need a "hard" reset, which is pressing the on/off button on the plug as long as it takes for the blue led to turn off again (approx. 10 secs). Then inclusion works.

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Trying to get Somfy blind controlled by Domoticz/RFXCOM RFXtrx433E. Can't get it to work...
Remote: Somfy Smoove RTS (up/my/down)
Followed the procedure:
1. Domoticz: manual added switch: blind, RFY, unique ID, Unit code
2. Program button pushed on back side Smoove,, until blinds jug -> Succesful!
3. Push TEST in Domoticz "add switch"-screen -> blinds jug (up/down). Succesful!
4. Add device in Domoticz (pairing should be ok)
5. Test switch in dashboard -> Nothing happens ?????
Checked with RFXmngr, erased all existing remotes, went through above procedure again: no luck.
Programmed Smoove with RFXmngr. Program signal send to Somfy; blind jug -> succes. Up or down signal send: nothing happens.
What am I doing wrong? Been trying to get this running since 2 days, read all suggestions here and now i'm quite desperate.....

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Try with a clean installation.
Reset the Somfy motor to remove all programmed remotes,
Remove the remotes from the RFXtrx433E (using RFXmngr)
Pair the original Somfy remote with the motor,
Pair an RFXtrx433E "remote" with the motor (see chapter 9 in the RFXtrx User Guide)
Create manual a Somfy device in Domoticz with same ID and Unit code.

Re: There is Somfy in the air!!
Thanks for the quick response!
Have followed proposed procedures several times (clean install).
The blinds respond to the program signal via Domoticz as well as via RFXmngr, however after adding the switch no response of the blind on any input. It's getting frustrating...
Any other suggestions?
Thanx
