Hello everyone!
My first post in this forum and it is regardin the greenwave powernode 1 port switch and energy meter.
I am running Raspberry PI, Domoticz version 2.4031 (beta channel) and the razberry controller.
I am using openzwave via USB to control razberry and the zwave network.
The only problem I have right now (2x multisensors working fine) is that the greenwave powernode 1 port reports the electric usage twice in watts. I would expect one device to show up as electric, KWH or similar. Instead i have two devices that reports exactly the same thing. I have tried to exclude/include the device several times, but no change.
Also, in the openzwave control panel the values are reported properly, one for watt usage, one for kwh usage.
I am attaching 3 screenshots from the hardware tab, device list and the openzwave control panel for further info on what I am seeing.
Any thoughts?
Thank you and regards
/Fredrik

Re: GW PowerNode 1 port - "usage, electric" seen twice in dev
I have the same culprit in latest beta. Somehow the first greenwave device (1 socket) worked out of the box. After an upgrade all of a sudden a kWh meter was there (the one with the fancy bars and the one i want.)
Next day i installed a greenwave 6 powernode. Only after an initial powerloss and reconnect/heal i got a kWH meter as above.
BUT! when i installed the second identical greenwave 6 power node. Only 2 watt meters are there (no kwh meter with the fancy bars)
How can i solve this or reinit or something?

Re: GW PowerNode 1 port - "usage, electric" seen twice in dev
Hello again!
This issue is solved for my part.
A restart of the system helped - when i came back into the panel for "Utility" I noticed that one of the watt meters didnt update any longer.
I checked the device list and now there is a KWH meter value available.
I am not sure what the issue was, but:
- 6 months uptime
- Moving away from Zway to openzwave without any restart.
Maybe some strange issue was triggered by this migration.
Regards
/Fredrik

Hi!
Thanks for this suggestion! I was having the same issue: my powernode 1 was only showing Watt and the possibility to switch on and off; no kWh. A reboot of the system fixed the issue.
Regards,
Rudi

FYI There is a good reason there are two electric usage devices. One displays the current power consumption, the other the power consumption of the previous measurement.

Yes, I know and in my case (I think slightly different from what the TS started off with) I had only current power consumption and the switch option.
